Man I only recently found your channel, this is awesome. I grew up in and around the Bay Area, been an A’s fan my whole life. Even going to high school during the Giants 3 in 5, I stayed loyal. I never gave up hope. For things to go down this way, it sucks. It makes me sad, I’ll never get to see my home team play in my home again after this season. I hope no other fans ever have to go through this. Cherish your teams.

As a Tigers fan, We were always scared of them when we had the strong teams of the early 2010s. Even though we beat em often in the Playoffs, It still hurts to see a franchise like Oakland that's been a historical one leave a city due to a greedy owner and league. Oakland is one of the cities that needs a team for the community like my Tigers, being that they lost the NFL and NBA plus the fact it gives kids and families a thing to do without being scared out of their mind living in a city that is known for crime. It's one of those sports cities that if a team is winning and having a run to the playoffs, the whole city supports them like a High School in a small town and a College going to the championship game. Just man, I wish the ownership and commissioner cared. Thank you for covering this.

DSARM great video man! My mom has worked at the Colosseum for 23 years! So I grew up going to As games and remember all the playoff runs in the early 2010s. It’s heartbreaking to see them leave. Now living in Phoenix I’m getting to go to one last game in June to kinda say my goodbyes to the team. Sad days.

Thank you for such a well done video. I was at games 160, 161 and 162 in 2012 and I will never have an experience like that ever again. This team has been a part of my life since I was a child, the exact person you described in your outro. I can confirm the funeral like atmosphere of the Coliseum this season, it's really rough. Dan, let me know your thoughts, the owner is the most hated in baseball and the Commissioner is right behind supporting him. The only way the A's stay in Oakland is if Fisher can't come up with the money for the construction costs in Vegas and if he relies on Vivek Ranadive to pay for the stadium for the A's in Sacramento without coming out of his own pocket. They will have no where else to go but back to Oakland.

Thank you for creating this video. As an A’s fan my entire life, the Coliseum was a very familiar place for me and I’m glad my young kids got to experience it for a short amount of time. Great summary of the situation and great interviews. I'm a lifelong a's fan. The last game I went to was the perfect game. Think it is best left at that. absolutely destroyed that the team that made me fall in love with this sport is gone. Probably will never be a fan of baseball in the same way.

Great video. I've been an Oakland A's fan since 1971 when I was 9, have seen close to 1000 games and am heartbroken what has happened these last few years and pending move to Vegas. I'll see their last game in Oakland in September and will be done with them and MLB. I hope the city sues the A's and MLB for this horrible move. St.Louis did with the Rams.

It's the owner that is hated, not the franchise! The franchise is tied with the Red Sox for the 3rd most championships and were beloved by their fans until John Fisher ruined them.

Oakland fans/residents I feel your pain. Especially with a HORRIBLE owner I understand the frustration. Being a SAN DIEGO charger fan it broke my heart when our owner dean spanos gave the middle finger to the city of SD and shipped them to LA! I haven’t been to a charger game or any NFL game since! Nor do I ever plan on going! The Spanos will never get another dime out of me! when the city of San Diego demolished the Murph (Qualcomm Stadium) I teared up! Just nothing but memories now. when my dad would take me to go watch Seau and Bolts or Tony Gwynn and the padres in the 90s! It’s a shame that ownership only cares about filling up their pockets instead of looking out for their loyal supporters! Sorry Oakland fans, but you deserve better!

Good video but there's one crucial angle you left out. The city. Did you try to interview the Mayor? Officials from the city and Alameda County? This is a city that found a way to lose THREE sports teams and a ton of other businesses in the course of five years. How did this happen? I think the City bears a good bit of the blame, and this needs to be addressed.

I'm an A's fan from Oakland, and I have been going to A's games since I was born. If the A's really move to Las Vegas, I will no longer be a fan of the A's and MLB. It hurts to be an A's fan, and it sucks that our owner is a Giants fan. John Fisher was part of the ownership group that kept the Giants in San Francisco and saved them from moving to Florida. It's depressing going to the Coliseum now, but I hope the A's move to Vegas falls through and the A's stay in Oakland. Las Vegas absolutely deserves MLB but it would have to be an expansion team in my opinion. John Fisher has been a terrible owner and he is a failure of a businessman despite having every advantage of being born into a Billionaire family. Not only is this terrible for us as an A's fan but it is also bad for MLB. Despite John Fisher being a awful owner, many people here in the East Bay still wear A's gear. Oakland is hands down a Baseball town. SELL THE TEAM FISHER!
