A tip when shopping online with walmart. You are able to select just walmart on the side bar.

These third party online scammers are basically just the updated version of the sketchy ads in the back of comic books and some magazines since the early 1900's.. Basically, it's the 2.0 version of Ralphie receiving an Ovalitine Ad after sending away for a Orphan Annie decoder.

When we shop on Walmart, we filter it and select retailer and choose Walmart. Then only products from Walmart shows up. Almost when looking at the product check where its shipping from.

@@sarahjo7837 Oh really?! I haven’t seen that. I saw weird names I have never heard of when looking at Christmas decor so I just set the filter to only show things sold by Target but that’s good to know that not all sellers on there are untrustworthy lol.

Thank you for making this video to warn us all about scammers 🙏🏻 Lately i watched a video about a woman who ordered a silicone avatar-baby and instead of silicone, it was made in a similar material to what the dolls you ordered, were. It reminded me of a squeeze-toy to dogs, the only thing missing was the whining-sound the squeeze-toys make 😬👀

I literally found $$$$$ ass brands on Walmart.com before and reached out to the companies and asked if they partnered with them and EVERY SINGLE ONE said no and not to trust those ads

Wow. This reminds me of the sketchy advertisements in the back of comic books and some magazines back in the 80's and 90's. What they advertised was never what you would actually receive...by a LONG shot. For example, If you ordered a deluxe dinosaur playset, they would just send you small balloons with a dinosaur imprint on them. I had a friend who once sent away for some "miracle weightloss product" and received a pamphlet of how to eat healthier two weeks later. I told her she only has herself to blame for that one though...lol

Walmart does seem to have more scammers! Still Amazon has lots of scammers, too. On Walmart I always click Retailer: Walmart. And on Amazon I make sure the seller has extremely good reviews, but prefer buying from the actual company (sometimes the actual company has an Amazon seller account) or sold and shipped from Amazon.

I was looking to buy a "realistic baby" doll for my daughter for Christmas. I knew about the reborn dolls, but wasn't looking to buy something that expensive. I felt sad seeing all the fake ads for reborn dolls popping up. I know some Mama out there in my position would buy one of those scam babies as a gift. Heartbreaking!

Walmart is only going to get the message if customers make an effort to report and let them know they won’t be shopping their anymore. Like you said, those not familiar with these third party shops, won’t be able to tell the difference. It’s done on purpose, it’s misleading and a scam. Stop shopping at Walmart.

Ugh, I hate that. I ordered at walmart online. I ordered a full sized knit blanket for my mom for Christmas but it came in the size of a baby blanket. I couldn't afford to get another knitt blanket or knew how to return it. I just gave up.

I've shopped walmart.com for years and had a few disappointments. They have a Pro Seller badge for trusted 3rd party merchants. Kind of like a verified badge on Twitter lol. I make sure to read reviews and look for the cheapest prices. If an item sells out that is sold by walmart it usual will come back into stock within a week or two so be patient and check back before you pay a higher price from another seller. Hope this helps someone.

I use Walmart delivery but never looked at third party sellers because I am impatient. I always filter out every third party sellers when buying from the WM app

I bought a little motorcycle for my son for Christmas off Walmart through a private seller. After it was all put together it is half the sz as it was supposed to be and wouldn’t charge. So sad for my kiddo :(

When you shop on Walmart, always press the filter button, click on retailer and then select Walmart and that will remove all third party sellers

Ive ordered a mold off Walmart in the last year or 2 and it came from China obviously and it wasnt the mold I ordered that I really wanted. I emailed them and told them and they resent it and it was a repeat of the wrong item so now I have two packages of loads of silicon cupcake/muffin cups.

My mom got scammed at the beginning of this year not on Walmart though some other site I wanted a animatronic baby Yoda she thought she was buying an animatronic baby Yoda and when it came it was just a rubbery latex puppet hollow inside you stick your hand up in it and the face look scary it was frowning I felt so bad because she was so excited to get it for me and when it came like that she was so bummed and upset

The reborn market is very expensive so know if you see a cheap one your not gonna get anything good usually cloth bodied ones are 80+ the silicon bodied ones are 200+

I think the problem here is that some of these get sold for upwards of $100.... and if you really look for them you can find very expensive ones and you'll still end up with something like this.... both for "odd babies " and "normal" ones which suck for those wanting to start collecting and your chances of getting burnt buying these things are HUGE!!

I recently tried to order a rolling pin from Walmart online. The picture and description showed a normal rolling pin. What I got was a tiny toy sized rolling pin.

For the future to avoid scams you can go to the filters and choose walmart.com as the retailer so everything you see is from Wal-Mart or its distributors.

Yes target has 3rd party companies, but I don’t think they have individual sellers. I did order something and did get the wrong item sent to me but target is amazing at fixing mistakes

The companies should have an e-mail just for buyers who purchase a product that doesn’t match the sellers product photo. They should have the buyer show a photo of the product and proof of the purchase from that seller and then the company should terminate the sellers account. 🤷‍♀️

I don’t understand when Walmart stopped being Walmart and started trying to be like Amazon. I don’t even know what comes from there or not now. I wish they’d get rid of the whole 3rd party sellers thing.
