I went vegan after realizing how much stress hormone filled animal products we all eat when I saw that pigs are so tightly packed they have to cut off their tails to prevent infection when the suck on the next pig's tail in front of their cage! They get pus and oozing infection then they treat them and fill them with antibiotics that people all eat! Eewwwwww
While I feel extremely upset about the way these babies are being done, I also feel sorry for the people forced to take on this job. You know these are people who can’t find a job that will be better for their mental health. You could get PTSD you know from exposure as sick as this. The simple thing the bleach box to step in, it’s empty of water. The lady is telling the truth , free range is a commercial gimmick supposedly to sell eggs for much more and make more profit off the lie. I’m sure there are some companies that do the right thing, there always are the good guys.
Anyone who wants to help END this-you can join Animal Welfare Organizations who are organizing and conducting campaigns all over-The Humane League, Vegan Outreach, Compassion over Killing and many others. We are targeting Costco, fast food restaurants, hotels, etc urging them to adopt The Better Chicken Commitment and the Open Wing Alliance-get involved to create the CHANGE that WILL END THIS!!!
Why has this not gone viral? I guess because literally no one wants to see it, no one wants to face the harsh reality of our consequences. The food industry, and what it costs to feed 7, 8 billion people around the world (actually prolly only like 60% of people are fed) We have a hunger problem, a water problem, a homeless problem, and medical needs problem. (going green sounds great, but expensive... and water... not to mention water bio waste.) Hopefully we'll get there before we kill off our planet, everything on it and inadvertently ourselves.
Sadly, this is nothing new or unusual, though Tyson is one of the absolute WORST. Years ago, there was a wonderful man named Virgil Butler (look him up) who was a Tyson worker and he became an animal activist, but stayed at Tyson only to try to make the birds' lives better; he would rescue some and take them home, and he would try to educate the other workers. This man was a SAINT and was honored by the animal rights groups. I read his diaries that he kept for documentation of the things that went on at the Tyson facility where he worked and you would not believe the horrific things people are capable of, the utter cruelty to baby birds. And yes, management knows all about these horrors. They don't care - if abusing animals makes their workers keep working and let off steam, they just pay no mind. They aren't much better to the workers, who probably go home and treat their families no differently than they do those birds. It was seeing these undercover videos years ago that made me go vegan. For those who do eat animals, why would you want to eat animals that were kept in THOSE conditions and treated like that? And what kind of person is low that the only job they can get is in a place like that? Animal agriculture is an ugly, filthy, business. It is disease causing, totally unsustainable, brutal, vile and it needs to end.
Why can't you? Easiest thing in the world. I went vegetarian and then full vegan and I would NEVER go back to the other way of eating. I have never eaten more delicious food, it's actually LESS expensive, I'm healthier than all my friends and I do not contribute to this animal abuse.

So I understand we all eat this chicken which it tastes good, but you have to feel bad how they treat their livestock like this, in the end its also concerning because if they arent being treated properly....Tyson i think I might buy Perdue instead
