Investigative Documentaries: Indigenous Communities 

The increase of Globalization in the Philippines will be the cause to a loss of filipino culture and traditions. Of course they would think it will improve the lives of the tribe! This is again another bribing method used by money-making people to make profit of their land if their plan is put forward. They don't care about those people's opinions and what not. Their main goal is to encourage them to agree and introduce them to a new lifestyle where money making is the prime objective with little consideration to the detrimental effect to the rich Indigenous culture of the "Agta" people. It is very depressing to know that there are only few remaining active Indigenous group of people in our country, yet our government neglects to protect these people and defend them of their rights to their own land. We should just respect and give them freedom to live their own lives the way they are taught to by their ancestors. Sad... Absolutely distressing..

We need to uplift and preserve the ethnic comminties because they are our ancestors. I hope the president does something

watching these vids para sa research namin. our aim is to help our indigenous tribes improve their livelihood, education and help them from poverty and at the same time nurturing and preserving their culture.

Discrimination and oppression to their community is still relevant these days. They are being displaced from their own lands, some of them are killed. I hope we all wake up and fight for our fellow countrymen.

I am watching this video for my degree reaction paper. The video shows how the lure of modernization and money-making can lead to the destruction of indigenous cultures and the environment. What is even more distressing is the government's failure to protect the rights of indigenous people and to ensure that their cultural heritage is preserved. It is unacceptable that there are only a few remaining active indigenous groups in the country, and that these groups are often marginalized and ignored by those in power.

I wonder how they are now. I would love to visit and help :(

Do you live in the Philippines? If you do you should learn tagalog, you should make the effort to adjust in this country; not the other way around. I assume you are a black african; even in african countries if you only speak english and not their local language, you are considered a foreigner and can also get fooled; it's the same in european countries where the language is not english
