Glad you liked it. Here a few differences: ETF's are traded on stock exchanges and can be bought and sold thoughout the day, like stocks. Mutual funds are typically bought and sold once per day after the market closes and prices are determined by the NAV (net asset value). Also, ETF's typically have lower fee's than mutual funds. ^MF

Start with a small amount and play around with it . Get a feel of the process and watching that Investments progress. You don't have to dump a whole bunch of money to invest

I just started in 2021. Don't be dumb like I was and try to pick individual stocks. I lost more than half my savings. Look for highly-rated mutual funds or buy shares of the S&P 500. Even most of the top experts at picking stocks don't outperform the S&P. Good luck.

Is index and mutual fund the same?

An index is a group of stocks that have something in common. The Dow Jones Index is all 30 stocks that comprise that index. Some mutual funds will track against an index meaning tries to replicate it's action. Indexes typically aren't tradeable. A mutual fund might try to mimic an index. ^CH

banks need creditors and debitors(credit-debit) pooling accounts to trade one number per transaction-size(price-tag). {debtors(sell debt is american-goons and indian-debf-collectors)}. they went to thick books, departing from fish-mongers to rumour-mongers.

Stock and all these fund crap are a scam. Success isn't guaranteed manager still get paid regardless if the stock does well or not. If that's not a tell tail sign you have the shorter hand of the stick I don't know what to tell you. It's like MLM only the higher ups get to make profit while there's gotta be sacrificial lamb for winners to exist. Fallen victim once to stocks.
