If you are beginning to invest your money on your financial planning journey then here are a few pieces of financial advice from my dad that have proven to be true...
1 - There are many ways to get to New York. There are many ways you can invest your money to arrive at the same location: retirement. Some are able to get there faster - some slower. If you are able to discover which path to retirement best aligns with your skill set while on your financial planning journey then you'll have uncovered part of the mystery.
2 - Don't come to your boss with problems. Come to your boss with solutions.
3 - Learn from my mistakes. One of the best pieces of financial advice from my dad was to learn from his financial mistake of not starting early. Thankfully, my brothers and I took him to heart and we all are on a good financial path.
