Something I think people forget is that Mark is the rightful heir to the viltrumite throne. His grandfather was the emperor that Thadeus killed. He has the genes of the strongest viltrumites. Thragg finds out Nolan is the son of the last emperor and wants to kill him because of that. He literally is viltrumite royalty and it's an important plot point rlthat I think a lot of people forget about. There was no doubt he was going to become one of if not the strongest viltrumite just based off that.

P.s. the fact that Mark can become the most powerful Viltrimite when he is 1 percent human makes no sense. @@23Raind Its quite really sustainable... Mark in their end battle its CLOSE w Thraggs power... (just my assumption, but Ill say he has like 75-80% of Thraggs power, while for example BattleBeast should ve been like 99% lol) while LITERALLY being in age terms for the average Viltrumite a literal child, being somewhere 30yo at that point (looking literally 20 or so), while Thragg, looking like a 35 must be around 1.000-1.500yo (we know that foe example Nolan is +2000yo, tho he does look like 45 or so)... So Mark while being a literal infant in Viltrumites terms, was already stronger than any other Viltrumite aside from Thragg, and any other being except for him and BattleBeast, while in the span of 13 years since the story started he grew from being the weakest Viltrumite ever, during the first few issues w powers, to that. Just Imagine how much more powerful he became after 500 years, when even Allen who also had several buffs in the story and at the end battle was close too to Thragg, got easily manhandled by 530yo Mark. I really believe not only that Mark is stronger, but that hes much more powerful by the end of the series than Thragg.

Superman has so many versions, each placed at WILDLY different spots on the power scale... why even try to talk about it when any "official" writer can make-up a new story about Superman (or Mark for that matter) where he suddenly is stronger than whichever version was stronger before. It doesn't obey any law of logic.

@@23Raind The very same Conquest that said “Ur son is ALMOST as strong as u” moments after this, Mark WHO WAS ALMOST AS STRONG AS NOLAN, killed Conquest for the 2nd and final time lol… Conquest is really hyped, but I do think that Nolan is quite stronger than him, he got killed twice by: first time a MUCH weaker Mark than Nolan (w Eves help) n in the second got killed in a completely fair 1v1 by a WEAKER Mark than Nolan. Either that, or Nolans fight IQ is way better than Conquest, who proved himself to be a no brainer lol. Thragg wasnt toying, the minute he got to the sun he was full on trying to kill Mark, he just couldnt, and Robots armor only made Mark gain a few extra seconds, that were enough to kill Thragg…He literally endured all of Thraggs meanest attacks, while also hurting him lol, yh, Thragg was deffo still stronger, but no way near he was “only toying” dude lmao. If Thragg were that much stronger as ur claiming it to be, he shouldve been able to torn mark apart easily like he did the previous time, but as we know, Mark got stronger after Eve healed him, while also got stronger due to the time pass.

@patd9850 Mark was still reasonably young at that point and has grown leagues stronger since then. He could probably endure the core of the sun for a lot longer now. He obviously couldn't just chill inside the sun, like Superman, though. I feel like staying in the sun too long would have some side effects for Superman. Maybe like a bad fever or something. Though Mark just has to not get dragged into the sun, which probably wouldn't be too hard for him. If Mark loses, it's more likely that he would get overpowered in strength than held in the core of the sun for a while.

Hot take: Eve is more powerful than Mark. Can't die, can (when unlocked) rewrite Mark to be stronger. Meaning she could also have taken him apart at the molecular level. Atom Eve could beat ANYONE. Superman does things that are just not compatible with image comics universe. I love invincible and it’s universe, but all of its characters have expressed weaknesses and frequently lose battles. Superman…doesn’t quite work that way. It takes gods and literal unkillable doomsday creatures to beat him. I’m also pretty sure the image comics writer didn’t actually read Superman comics

@@Deyas786 People always have to do what you did to make other characters seem stronger than Superman. That is, compare the strongest versions of their character to one of the weakest of Superman. People do this with Goku, Invincible, Hulk, whatever... Superman has weaker versions, just like any character, where he's younger and has more vulnerabilities but the strongest versions of Superman have godly powers and no weaknesses.

Mark can definitely put up a good fight against some versions and even win , but mostly Superman is depicted as a god who lives among men and can shatter planets easily so Mark will lose against those versions. But still I like Invincible way more because the story , the stakes, the emotions and especially the action with a touch of realism, stating what a world will look like if God like beings exist. Even though they aren't as strong as Superman but still they are not pushovers, killing a viltrumite isn't that easy because they don't give up easily and have crazy endurance because they are just made to survive extreme situations.

@@noobtube373 bro i have seen the animated series, the recent animated (MAWS) on adult swim, Christopher Reeves Superman movies , Henry Cavill Superman movies, and also watched Live action TV series (Superman and Lois) and even watched the injustice animated movie. In most of these he's depicted as an alien who came and he's always trying to prove he's as human as the others so it's not like I don't have any idea it's just that Invincible don't hold much back. I'm very much familiar with Superman depictions as well but Invincible does way better in some sense and I have read the entire 144 issue run of Invincible so I think some shit Superman movies or show's or comics won't show at all.

Superman is unfortunately powered by the sun and once he realizes that Mark is as strong as he is it moves to the sun. Now while Mark can exist in the sun Superman is POWERED by the sun he regenerates faster, moves and thinks faster and is over all better while Mark takes environmental damage overloading his healing factor and eventually vaporizes.

Facts, Just because the creator of Invincible, Robert Kirkman, says that Mark Grayson can beat Superman, it doesn't necessarily mean that he actually could. While Kirkman is the creative force behind Invincible and has a deep understanding of Mark's abilities, he doesn't have the same level of control over Superman, who is owned by DC Comics. The strength and capabilities of comic book characters are often determined by the writers and editors who work on them, and these can change over time depending on the needs of the story. Superman’s feats far exceed Invincible’s to my knowledge. Let’s see here, Superman has towed an entire galaxy, went back in time through sheer speed, has complete immunity to 50 million degrees within the center of the sun, doesn’t ever age, and he can become even stronger after bathing in the sun for an extended period of time. I’m not too sure about Invincible’s feats, but I don’t think I’m aware of him doing anything that crazy.

Depends on which variant of Superman. Superman Prime One Million for instance has no weaknesses to kryptonite. All-Star Superman when supercharged by the sun has complete immunity to green kryptonite, but is susceptible to others. Kryptonite by itself may or may not be lethal depending on which Superman we’re discussing. Honestly, magic packs more of a punch than kryptonite does.

I think people have the image of superman not being as strong as he is because they only see the film adaptations really don't show things that are as impressive as what Omni man does (wiping out an entire civilization in one episode etc.). Also Invincible is just a lot bloodier and more gory than the DC films so when you see damage done to characters by somebody like Omni man it stays in your head more and gives you the false sense that he's stronger.

However, I believe that Superman has the potential to defeat Omni-Man, but it would not be an easy fight. He is also more experienced in combat, and he has a better understanding of his own powers. Omni-Man, on the other hand, is incredibly strong and durable. He is also a skilled fighter, and he has a ruthlessness that Superman does not. And, the outcome of a fight between Superman and Omni-Man would depend on a number of factors, including the environment in which the fight took place, the mental state of the combatants, and a bit of luck. However, I believe that Superman has the potential to win, even if it would be a very difficult fight.

@@SOLDAT_MENDES it isn't difficult for rent at all. The environment has no matter because whatever environment he's in, there isn't really anything Omni man can do to him that would affect him. If we want to make it at least somewhat, a fair fight, let's do random encounter in the middle of the road, sure Omni is ruthless, strong, yet he's not stronger nor faster or more durable than Superman. Not to mention, I'd say, Superman is also more skilled than Omni-man, considering he's trained with Batman, Wonder Woman, and knows, ancient kryptonian fighting techniques. Not to mention the hundreds of other things he's learned while flying across the galaxy. The most setback that we need to worry about given the encounter I planted is civilian casualties, and due to his super speed, he'd be able to evacuate entire block before Omni-man can blink. I'd also like to give you the fact that Superman has powers over Omni-man to. His laser vision can travel as fast as the flash( depending on what speed he's going, in which flash it is) not to mention cities if you wanted to. Omni-man has an innate weakness, tie, frequency noises which Superman can exploit using his supersonic extreme. he also has ice breath, and super breath. You also bring up the fact that he's invulnerable which Superman is two into a higher extent, given that he can literally fly into the sun and not take any damage while Omni-man can only stay near the sun for a limited amount of time before he's completely annihilated.

I think Mark could catch up Superman, likely at the age of Conquest and trainining his entire life until that point. Superman travels Galaxies in seconds, lifts entire solar systems and has been even able to move stars, don't ask me how he did that but, the point is that maybe Mark could catch up. If and only if, the autor confirms that they don't have a limit power and can become stronger with training without a top, then Mark theorically could out power Superman.

That’s a terrible take. The argument for superman is people pulling out specific comic runs where he goes OP like superman 1 million and comparing it to a young mark from the show. Normal adult superman with no wild power buffs like DCAU vs fully grown leader of the viltrumite empire mark which is simply mark fully grown and not a child anymore goes to mark quite easily, he becomes the strongest being in the galaxy while it’s commonly known superman gets wrecked by characters like darkside quite often except when he gets some kind of power boosts. The writer of the comics confirmed it. Superman would destroy every other viltrumite tho only thragg has a chance

I would assume that by the end of the series, Mark is probably 100+ to have grey hairs. We really don't know how quickly he ages, but if it's anything close to true Viltrumites, he's the equivalent of a human in their early 30s (around the time people start getting grey hairs). There is no reason Eve can't be over 100 years old, considering her body (after being rebuilt) was probably perfect and she had the benefit of alien technology and medicines to extend her life.

The problem with the instant teleportation fell fest is that Cecil is still taking the time to choose a location to teleport to, and by the time the decision is made and the button is pressed, of course Mark is long gone. Mark tends to pull his punches and hold back when hes fighting. Hes knows hes strong and is too afraid he'll kill someone. Even later in the story when he has to fight for his life, Omni Man tells his to stop holding back, then he starts to kicks ass but fails in the end because he tried to show mercy to someone trying to murder his face.

I can see the argument working for Mark winning but it depends on what era superman he’s fighting… if he fights Superman at an early stage like before superman has ever fought another entity like himself so first one he fights is Zod really… but when super man is like peak power house and lobotomises doomsday etc and beats the shit outta darkseid etc… that superman probably beats the shit outta anybody in invincible plus there was that whole period in the 80’s where superman just got whatever power he needed… and that shit was mad so if its that guy its again a no contest but if its early sups and peak mark it micht just go the other way… cause mark fought alot of scary dudes… but in terms of raw strength that alot of this video is about nothing matches sups toeing planets on a chain through space… there’s cruise shit and then there’s multiple planets… like its a fucking necklace… and supes really does have more powers. Lots of people tend to ignore the upgrade Mark got from Eve. Mark isnt just a viltrumite of royal blood destined to outgrow even thragg, he is also an upgraded (down to molecular level) viltrumite who got redesigned by his badass wife. He has plenty of instances where it doesn’t effect him however I don’t see why that is relevant when discussing who is stronger. mark isn't faster than instant teleportation because yes the teleportation is instant but the time it takes to activate it isn't, that's why Cecil isn't able to get there in time its cos it takes a couple seconds to use we saw this in the show when Cecil was with Omni-man and he would be off screen for a couple seconds,
