I never thought that Mark making bad jokes was really supposed to be funny. He even realizes that they aren't funny when he says them. Also, I think it's a bit harsh of you to say the entire show's humor sucks just because you don't like the lines of one character.

At first, the title card is kinda annoying, but by the end of the series, your going to be hyped when it comes up

Holy Shit! I didn't notice the two little fish kids until just now. 😂 This show has excellent attention to detail.

My reaction to most of the fantasy aspects of this show is so different to some others. Like, I don't look at the Rushmore scene as being especially comedic compared to the rest of it, because for me the whole show is like that. Like, it's an entire show made up of ironic winks toward stuff in comics and pop culture, deliberately over-the-top and "stupid" with all the names and knockoff ideas thrown in. I don't know if it would have even occurred to me to ask about everyone's origin story because they're all such obvious stand-ins for stuff nerds have seen millions of times before, on purpose. It's a lived-in universe made up of gags from other universes, which you're just dropped into, almost as if you've already been there. Which is really how most current DC/Marvel books are. They'll tell you brief bits of lore if it's super-relevant to the current plot, but otherwise you just have to assume shit went down previously and then pick up. Great reaction. Keep it up.

How do you not get that you are literally saying the point of the bad jokes... the whole point was for it to not be funny.. it's funny because they weren't funny... No one expected haha's as if the head part was hilarious.. the punchline was when Mark says "oh these are all bad.." like acknowledging super hero banter is cringe... so it did its job if it made you oof. Also yall were rolling during doc seismics studies.. like I've watched yall genuinely laugh at this show. Most of the humor isn't even words. I want people who shit talk mark everywhere and all other awkward/not immediately good superheroes- AKA every lame reactor ever who wants to go on about how 90% of not immediately great superheroes are shit- Or characters with any NORMAL traits are 'stupid', to get powers/live those lives and watch how shit they are. Sure, it would never happen, but I guarantee they'd all do 1000x worse and it'd be hilarious.

I have to say that one thing I found interesting about this adaptation is that I really don't care for Amber in the comic, but she's a really different character in the show both visually and personality-wise, and I do like the TV version, which was something I didn't expect.
