9:48 As you pointed out, i like that this episode deals with what street level heroes usually deal with, like organized crime and small scale threats (example: Daredevil, Spider-man and Batman) that big name heroes doesn't, not because they don't care but because they usually deal with big scale treats. Just amazing worldbuilding.

I don't think Titan is straight up a bad guy. I think he means it when he says he's gonna make the city a better place, but less on a hero scale and more on a criminal one. One could even call him a character with a GREY shade of morality. Eh? Got it? **sigh** I'll let myself out.

Took me awhile but I realize why I like the way they do the title screen,it's like how always sunny does it with their title of an episode when its said instead of title of show.

To be clear: Battle Beast could have folded everyone present like cheap laundry, pressed them into two dimensions, and spray painted "Battle Beast Rulez" unto that surface with their own blood. They were saved by his boredom with the match. I'm surprised the comments aren't already inundated with this analogy, but: it's as if Kingpin hired Thanos to deal with the TV Defenders.

The "plot twist" in the end isnt that the guy was bad all along, its just that hes become the new mafia boss but hes going to try to make the city better

for perspective, machine head having battle beast for security would be like Vulture hiring Thanos for security

Two notes. First, Battle Beast ducks out of the fight because after four "kills" he's basically decided that he's bored with this and just leaves. Second, Titan explains that he intends to make the city better for a lot of people. He clearly has good intent while performing jobs for Machine Head, which strongly implies he intends to overhaul Machine Head's empire now that he's taken over. I doubt he intends to be evil.

I'm ready to see more of battle beast for sure.

The amount of blood in the intro is somewaht proportional to the amount of violence in the episode, the more blood, the more violent the episode.

Battle Beast! I highly recommend reading this comic! I know you don't want to be spoiled, but 1)it's a fast and easy read 2) it's gonna be like 5 years before you're done with this story if you wait for animation 3) it's fun to read comics lol

Not sure how many other shows START with who you think a main character good guy kills who you think is the main good guy teams as a cliff hanger and keeps on holding the audiences attention the whole time.

Actually... BattleBeast is one of the top three most powerful beings in Invisible universe. They don't show it here, but not even Nolan can actually take him down. The guy is like Doomsday in DC.

So, Titan isn't so much a bad guy, but he sees a power vacuum he can fit into and he's looking out for his own first. It has been done in comics though, both Luke Cage and Daredevil spent times being the Kingpin of Harlem/Hell's Kitchen. He probably won't be fully good, but given what we saw of him in the start, he'll be soft enough to look out for the little guy. Sadly 'the little guy' is not Mark in this aspect, who was fed to the anthropomorphic lion man known as Battle Beast. A proper wake up call of accidentally walking into a lv50 boss fight at lv10. And yet, Nolan didn't help, because he thinks this'll be a lesson for Mark not to help stop street level crime. Also Eve's dad is pretty awful, you can tell he's cheated on his wife before. And you're right, Robot does want the Maulers for their cloning.
