Cecil is the best version of a character who is a "does what needs to be done"- type. Better even than a Nick Fury or even Amanda Waller.

Eve's powerset is basically a dialled back version of Molecule Man's powers. Which still makes her incredibly versatile, and incredibly powerful, though perhaps not as omniverse-busting as Molecule Man

Eve's powers certainly are the most OP. She could rearrange the atoms of Omni-man and turn him into pure oxygen if she wanted to.

You're kidding right? The show completely RUINED Amber. And I'm not a huge fan of the various changes they made to other characters either. What's worse is that they clearly didn't make these changes for the sake of telling a better story, they made these changes for politically motivated reasons. The new Amber is just a diversity points checklist. And no, Damien Darkblood was not a joke in the comics. He did solve the mystery. In fact, he was the ONLY one to solve it. Nobody else solved the mystery, it was revealed to them. The only "joke" about his character is that he solved the mystery after it was already revealed, because he didn't know that it was revealed.

@@KurNorock I checking the comic for Darkblood finding out, the context was darkblood came to the GDA asking to speak to Cecil as he thought he was getting close to finding the killer to which the receptionist laughed him out the building given it had been months since mark fought his dad. Personally i can forgive show amber as at least personally it doesn't bother me but yeah i get the hate for her, i am sadly just familiar with people that age doing even more stupid stuff so my bar for poor decision making has been shifted pretty far off. As for diversifying, Shinking ray (who cares about them), Rex splode, very little change making him hispanic and guardians of the globe fall into the same catagory as Shinking ray of, who cares. I see changing bit characters race or sex as ultimately irrelevant.

@@verdantsquire950 I am not even talking about Amber "doing stupid stuff". I am talking about everything about her character. They changed literally everything about her. She's not the same character at all from the comic. It isn't JUST that they changed her race and sex. They changed her personality. They changed how she acts, how she talks, what she is interested in, and even how she dresses. As far as the other characters who's race/sex was changed, if it is so irrelevant, tell me, why did they do it? And why is it ALWAYS only in one direction? Why don't they ever change a black woman into a white man? Why is it ALWAYS changing white to "insert minority here" and men to women? Think about that.

Kur Norock the changes to minorities and women is mostly to appease a not insignificant community of people who feel that there isn't enough representation in comics and cartoons. As for why we don't see changes to white male, well the problem with that is that there is an overwhelming majority of characters who already fit in that. Moreover they vastly outnumber others in the upper tiers of popularity and significance. The reason why it is so noticeable and bothersome when they add diversity is not because they change things to an unnecessary degree but more because it is a editorial mandate brought down because of target numbers in employment handed down by governments. And I am certain we can all agree that editorial mandates will screw over characters and storylines just look at one more day for that. New characters brought in with all the cultural and sex strings attached with the intent of authors like Ms Marvel (great comic read it) are far better. As for completely changing ambers character it seems to me, at least so far that rather than change the essential parts of her character they are more applying a more modern idea of what women that age act like which means we get a more era accurate character. The amber of the comics wouldn't exist simply because the ideas of what makes young women have changed so by consequence she has changed with it. Which in my opinion is the most comic accurate thing possible with characters reacting to the world around them and being in tune with it.

@@KurNorock Because most of the time in these stories 90-95% of the characters are white. Even when it would be unrealistic for them to all be white all the time. How come in stories even with global reach and even in diverse contries like america, the majority of any characters in these stories were always one race? Think about that.

I think I feel the same about Omniman. He is an evil, psychotic a**hole but he steals the scene everytime he is on screen an I love the tension that his OMNIpresent threat brings.

True, your answer is incredibly boring. But 3 episodes in, you're kind of strapped for options so nobody can really blame you. This series has a very strong side cast but it's not like they've had the time to be a strong cast yet.

Donald is very different in the comic, in that he's not a normal human he's a cyborg, he was a soldier who was in an explosion and had i think 96% of his body replaced so he can actually hold his own in a fight, he also doesn't get killed by Omni-man when he does his turn to evil.

She seems okay at first but yeah she’s the worst
