well it made me click on it, otherwise I wouldn't have due to the channel size and view count at the moment. Definitely quality content as well, this will help his channel.
yeah i figure its to have more heroes to pull from later on as they dont have the. rights to some rather than make COMPLETELY new heroes its much more convenient to give existing characters an arc when that time comes
@@rr-ui5my I mean, it wasn't pointless. the Lizard League for example, they are all dead. And just a bunch of other emotion-grade changes happen for the characters. Shrinking Ray was pretty much a nothing character in the comics, they can actually do something now- and considering what happens later on in the comics...yeah.
To be fair about the gunshot to the head thing with Rex, it is possible to survive a Gunshot to the Back of the Head from a 9mm Bullet, chances are quite slim but there's still a chance to survive it (obviously though there is permanent damage, but you'd be alive). If Rex was shot in the Temples (The Sides of The Skull) then I'd agree, he should be dead since that's a 100% Guarantee of Death.
@@hatman9609 There have been cases of people being shot in the head, surviving and walking themselves to the hospital. There are some cases where the person wasn't even aware of being shot in the head until they had a head scan done.
11:54 There are several documented cases of people being able to survive a shot in the head. One of the most recent cases was Chris Smith back in 2021. And since Rex Splode is a superhuman being, him surviving a shot in the head makes sense. He even survives a shot in the head in the OG comic run too.
I'd assume the reason why Angstrom used that specific area for his experiment instead of another universe was because, in every other universe, Mark and Nolan would be tracking him down. He chose this universe because it was the one universe where Mark hadn't joined Nolan, so Angstrom knew that he could convince this Mark that the experiment was for the greater good.
Colin, you are wrong about adult Eve, she is from the same universe as Mark but she and her teammates used time travel and dimensional gun to go back in time to save him early from this dimension. It was mentioned in the show that they used a time machine.
I came to say the same thing I've seen several videos of people making the same mistake thinking they're from a different universe I didn't think it was that confusing
Tbh I really hate that explanation. I know Rex Robot warns Eve not to disrupt the time stream any more but this must've created alternate timelines in the first place to prevent paradoxes.
I've reading the comics because I'm having withdrawals from the show. The comics get insanely good, and i can't wait to see how they handle some of the later arcs in the show.
I find it funny how nobody talks about how during the final scene with Nolan and Alan where Nolan goes from communicating telepathically to actually speaking when he says he misses Debbie. I think that’s a really nice touch on how Nolan is slowly growing as a person
I loved Season 2, it's amazing and even if Amber was unlikable to me in the first season, i feel like in the second she became much more likeable and i understood way more her point of view, i read the comics so i already know what will happen but the way the animated series shows certain things and manage them is very cool and i like it alot. I believe Season 2 was worth the painful wait and tat it's miles better than the first one wich already was amazing.
they redeemed amber in my eyes too but the thing is........its not even character development. its a straight up 180. i would have never imagined someone like s1 amber would become someone like s2 amber
@@namishjain9238 I have to agree with this sadly, it's not a character development in wich Amber aknowledge her issues and grow as a person, it's just.... haha now Amber is a different person because... yes?
Great video, but I really do think that the title does more damage than good. I wasn’t going to bother clicking on this video until curiosity got the better of me, I guess because of the “bias of confirmation” phenomenon and all that. Maybe make it a little more obvious that it’s satire 😅
For the part abt rex being shot, it is possible for him to survive (for give me for priving up real world logic for a show) cause for victims who survive the initial trauma, about 50% die in the emergency room.
I actually agree with the title. S2 definitely had its highlights. Everything on the bugplanet was hype, and I was on the edge of my seat for the guardians vs lizardleague fight. Same for Anissa threatening Amber. And the way Mark and Nolan go trough kind of an opposite arc is honestly genius. But overall this season was such a downer. And maybe it was comic book accurate but holy shit they Refused to focus on Nolan or Angstrom for long. Specially Angstrom just showed up in the 1st episode and then we only see him in a few post credit scenes before he comes back for a MEDIOCRE finale. When it was over my best friend and I both said "that was it?" Season 1 was amazing, but season 2 was a midfest.
They don't need to focus on Nolan or Angstrom, it's a show about Mark, not either of them. Sounds to me like you're just upset there wasn't an epic big chungus villain.
@@Peasham Thats like saying no need to see "too much of the joker this movie is about batman". Excuse me for liking main villains to have more screentime.
2:35 The need for the infrastructure for the experiment to take place in a dimension where Omni-Man and Invincible did not take over the planet. Also, the Maulers have contacts and know how to attain the equipment required in their dimension, which can't be said about other dimensions. The better question is why didn't he just explain exactly what's going on and what would happen if the process was stopped, as opposed to speaking so vaguely as to not be taken seriously.
As a person that had to read the comics, thanks to season 2 been cut in half, I have to say, the show is pretty much the comics but better (except Amber in season 1, but now she's a much better character, as stated in the video). The show gives more depth and emotion to what was already great.
I mean this is a great video, I watched a little bit when it came out and it straight convinced me to binge the show and come back contextually updated
One amazing detail in the show is how they portray Nolan's and Debbie's (and by proxy Viltrumite and human respectively) different priorities when it comes to value of life in general in their parallel scenes. Nolan would've ACTUALLY offed himself if it wasn't for the Thraxan ship being in danger, whilst Debbie decided NOT to do it and chose to give a shot a moving on with her life, no matter how much she contemplated it.
After reading the comics I can confirm ppl who only watched the show r not ready for season 3 at all, n can’t wait how the show is gonna portray these turning points for specific character arcs in the main cast
3:20 Angstrom Levy later in the season is shown to be pretty physically strong and durable, so it's likely that he is stronger than the Maulers 3:48 Welp nvrmind, I forgot about that part
This man put his neck on the line for flawed bangers like Spiderman 2 so I know for a fact that title and thumbnail are just bait lol, Let me finish the whole vid and see if he cooked- Yea he cooked, cant be mad at this vid lol good job🗣️🙏🏾
The biggest problem in Invincible is a problem it has in the comics aswell. A multiverse cannot exist in the way it is portayed. You don't just say " *OH* Mark being a Good guy almost never happen" or " Only *ONE* version of a character, out of an *ENTIRE* multiverse has powers" Multiverses only work one way logically: Infinitely, or not all (Only one Universe)
Bro I came here to see you hate on invincible and maybe dislike it but all I’m hearing is how great invincible is this video for sure deserves a like 👍
The Rex dying part can actually happen in rl bec before someone dies the brain sends a lot of adrenaline to survive so when he got back up he beat the shit out of lizard king and another reason is his power
I thought the first season did things better than the comic but I preferred the comic version of events in season 2 like the Atlantian queen bit. They even named the episode after actual dialog from the comic and then cut that exchange out which is a shame.
For the Rex being shot in the head and surviving i think it’s a case of super human duality plus whatever the us government did to give him his explosion powers and adrenaline because dude was riding that wave until after the threat was over then he passed out plus the doctors might be better than most doctors because they work with super heros more often
1. I know you've been using them for a while but were some of those Spider-Man images new because those were cool especially the upside-down one. 2. Do you think we could and would u like to see an Invincible special episode like Atom Eve's origin but with Rex Splode's origin and how he meets Atom Eve. There's a comic of that. 3. Most importantly I love Invincible and of course your content
@@C0LIN. I really hope they do too since Rex is my favorite character in the series. He cracks me up at times, love his development and taking out The Lizard League like a badass.
It really makes you think. SHOULD anything be considered unforgivable? Do we just need to make Hell for others to feel more virtuous about ourselves? Does it have to be this way?
I think its funny when I tell my friends or family, "just give it a chance, its literally such an amazing show, you'll love it". then I get the classic "its a cartoon, it cant be good" LMAO, THIS SHOW IS PEAK
About Rex getting shot in the head: there are real people that survived getting shot in the head, a shot in the heat isn't always an instant death sentence.
20:41 loved the video but slight correction hear, that was the same eve just from the future, in there time mark never came back and after 40 or so years they invented time travel to go back in time and save him
Videos like these are why i miss the like/dislike bar. I actually was very dissapointed with this season's pacing. So much so that I ended up reading the comics, which revealed to me how much time they wasted on certain angles/storylines with S2 as the finale could have included 2 big action sequences and huge reveal. Also the animation was not very good and feels like it took a step back from S1
You're the first person I've seen who thinks Season 2 was better than Season 1. Everyone keeps complaining that the writing/animation/action has deteriorated in quality, but I believe that Season 2 more than lives up to Season 1. It's refreshing to see a new perspective on the show
Very little interesting happened. We already saw all this in the first season. New faces got almost no coverage. Viltrumites? Space council? Bulletproof? We don't know anything about them apart of 1-2 traits. Constant reintroduction of characters from season 1. Brutes are cool, but they are just...around? No balls to kill anybody who 100% SHOULD have died. Season finale is a joke when compered with amazing first one. I genuinely surprised that people who made season 1 come up with season 2. On it's own its fine, but in comparison it's extremely weak. At least they toned own preachy girlfriend after her " i guess we both been lied to" bs in season 1. Hope season 3 will be much better.
