@@griefer5846 the problem with that is creating entire show full of multiple seasons all the way up to a series finale means that they have to commit to the show all the way up until it is fully finished. it’s risky because if the full show itself ends up failing, all the millions of dollars used to create it could all be for nothing. that’s why most shows start and only show 1 season before deciding to commit to more seasons

I’m just grateful how much animation is widely appreciated and still respected in this show. If watch any Noodle video about animators, you may even think this waiting period is probably much sooner than we should expect. Plus, my cousin’s fiancé is an animator. Tough to find work, so even if it takes “longer” I’m glad these imaginative people have a promising jobs for a few years. God bless!

@@joegaddy2030 I think it's looking "cheap" because of the "no overshoot" rule in the tweening. I guess it's because the cleanup relies on a pseudo cutout technique for the sake of consistency. Because of that continuous form and line consistency it may look comp generated movement. And if some idiot on the producer side comes in with a budget cut (and believe me that happens... a lot), animators need to be smart with cutting those corners. And I think this is NOT a cheap animation. My only "beef" with this teaser is the "color slapping", either it's a new jargon, because it's easier now (relatively), or they should respect coloring a tad bit more (even if it can be outsourced for people with no meaningful experience at all... been there, done that, it was one of my first jobs before I could even lay a line on a canvas). To be honest, that, tweening and cleanup is my favorite part in the pipeline.

Not too much because a little Battle Beast goes a long way, but it's a character that I love as much the fanbase loves him. This has to be one of, if not THE best trailer I've ever seen, it has no spoilers, it's a completely original idea, there is a lot of effort in it and I can tell the animation is gonna be better then s1, and it doesn't criticize the fans for being patientless with the show or anything else (unlike velma), and with the trailer being this good it only makes me more excited to see the second season

You do know Young Justice already got revived, right? It's content got split between a digital comics app and HBO Max, but Young Justice came back for season 3 in 2019 on the DCU app whose movies and shows, including YJ season 3, all got moved to HBO Max. Season 4 then came out in late 2021, early 2022 on HBO Max, and it hasn't yet been confirmed if it's getting a season 5 yet since HBO Max has been undergoing a lot of restructuring and animation taking a bit brunt of the hit lately. I heard it got some mixed feelings, but I loved season 3. Season 4 is more of a mixed bag imo. I went back and forth between thinking "this is awesome" and "why are doing that?"

Seasons 2 and 3 got greenlit right as the last episode or two of season 1 dropped, so we're definitely getting at least one more season after this one. I don't think they'll be able to tell this story in 3 seasons, though. If they wanted to really make a meal out of the last issue epilogue, they could have a ton of seasons if they really wanted, but I personally don't think they could do the full series in anything less than 5 seasons depending on how much they condense and cut.

You can see how in the booths next to Allen and Mark there is a younger version of Eve and her doctor friend, while in the other booth there are two versions of Angstrom Levy. Cool detail.

I really appreciate that they let the fans know, "Hey guys we know youve been patiently waiting and we sympathize and we're working hard and as fast as possible but please be patient with us.", and unlike a lot of modern production teams they were able to do it without putting down the audience and even made a few cheeky jokes at their own expense. Its honestly really refreshing and im willing to wait however long it takes for them to get the show to the quality their comfortable with just because they extended that goodwill to the fanbase. :)

Just discovered this show and watched all of season 1 and the Atom Eve Special. So happy it’s coming back! It’s difficult to find decent shows with good storylines, especially in animation, unless they’re filled with foul language and dirty minds. I love Invincible!!

Since this is very recent, it likely obviously makes sense as animation may take months to make an episode, if you look at the left in the beginning, you’ll see a Eve and Brandyworth in the left :) So i think its a cool hint nobody could’ve understood at the time

Also, the guy in the booth to the right, who we really only see in profile, looks vaguely like the mind-meld character in the first episode of season 2. All I’ve had a chance to see so far is the first episode, but I’m stoked that season 2 is finally here! Woo Hoo!!
