This Posterior Open Bite had 2 causes. But it's easiest to solve one way! Recognize why NOT to move 28 teeth at the same time, especially when with refinement aligners for a POB!
hello, your video is great i have a patient with deep bite and lower crowding. he starts to show posterior open bite after wearing first 5-6 aligners only, probably due to lower intrusion not going as programmed. should i retake new aligner, add lower ipr, over and staging intrusion first to remove those anterior interference before i proceed to align L crowded tooth? or i can do both at the same time 🙏🏻
Buccal movements will happen easier than intrusion movements. So it's common to see a POB start while you are waiting for the lower intrusion to catch up. Slow the treatment down a little, use chewies or Munchies a LOT, and then see how it goes. You don't necessarily need to re-do the treatment plan yet.
