lots of youtubers try to demo this by a piece of fabric with no clear wrong/side side & 12" X 12" is size which makes it impossible to understand what to fold over where! Thanks for showing it on a real piece of work!

You might not ever see this, but I have to tell thank you for this tutorial. I watched several video's until I came across yours. And I couldn't understand what the heck they were talking about. I only had to see your one time and understood exactly what to do. Again thank you, thank you, thank you !!

Probably shortest while being totally comprehensive video in blind hemming I’ve seen. And without using a separate foot too! Thank you very much ❤❤❤

I'm so frustrated. I don't get it! Everyone in the comments seems to understand it, and I swear I am trying really super hard to do it. I don't understand where the black zigzag stretch stitch over the white overlocked serge stitches went, nor do I understand where they were tucked and hidden?? I know it's a "me" problem, but if anyone could help me, I'd be so grateful 🙏.

The garment itself has the white overlocked stitch to show what to do regarding the fold technique and where you line up your needle. The black stitching is on a spare piece of the same fabric so it shows up more clearly the type of stitch and that only one stitch appears on the right side of garment. Hope others agree with my explanation? Glad you asked because it made me rewatch and only then did I realise it was a test piece with black thread. I’d dismissed the technique as it left the hem lumpy and the thread showed and I prefer to hand sew taking up less fibres on the right side. Thanks to YOU NormalBirdLady I will certainly try this method 👍 Looks great.
