What is the advantage of downloading this vi editor from github for windows? Is typing easier and later transfer or ftp to unix is easier or what is the usage of this vi editor on windows?
I am not good in Vi editor, in which case, can I type the shell script in windows and calll that script from Unix? Will the employer prefer this way or they want me to be a pro in vi edition and directly type it in Unix? Is there a way I can practice VI editor?

So, after typing a text file with all unix commands or a shell file, do I need to ftp the text file or .sh file to unix system?
