Minor editing mistake at around 1:30:30~ There is one clip which has been placed incorrectly order wise, I have 0 idea how I managed that.. but this is just the magic that Is me! Also, will be on hiatus until likely next week, having to rush back to England to help family with a few things out of nowhere! Wasn't able to get a stockpile of videos ready since I only knew about this for less than 24 hours before I had to go! Hope you all have a great week! :D
There is also the mod call " great empire" witch let you build dark matter building and other stuff, plus you get in the galaxy a dark matter planet Buuuuuuut all fallen empire have been turn into one giant horror space fight since, right off the bat, they have, well evrything you want
@@PerfectAlibi1 Yeah, I don't understand why everyone is obsessed with that mod, it's basically just power fantasy making an easy game even easier lol.
The wormhole in your capitol system leading to your overlord was one of the new additions of the recent patches in order to make it easier for your overlord to come to your aid if you're getting crushed or something.
@@rumandroses2538 ngl I think Rimworld war crimes are the best. It’s tough to beat being a hospital where people (raiders) learn to become super philanthropic to the point that they are willing to donate (forcibly) all of their organs to a good cause (more silver for the colony).
in descending of amassing -Guilli's Planet Modifiers and Features -Gigastructural Engineering & More (3.0) -Ethics and Civics Classic 3.0 -(-NSC2 Season 6-) -UI Overhaul Dynamic -Tiny Outliner v2 -Expanded Colours [180 Colours] what i mostly run, sometimes add i !-Starbase - Extended-! just for a comfy completely broken mod.
I believe that starbase extended was integrated into NSC2, I know that they integrated a starbase mod but can't remember off the top of my head. Just wanted to let you know if you weren't already.
Lol... everytime i play gigastructures i just end up hyper outscaling everyone by like year 40... no matter the difficulty... like i can tell by checking research agreements and seeing im like over 20 techs in each category past everyone else... plus... the economy... +4k energy, +2k minerals, +4k alloys, +20-30 all strategic resources, + 2k food... and like 20k research by year 2300 lol
I would absolutely love to watch a playthrough with the mod "Ancient cashe of technologies" The mod contains a massive amount of lore, new content and other stuff. Since of this I think a series would be the best idea. I hope you check it out. Love please and flowers!
Bust out the StarTech AI mod! It's made my last few play throughs so much better!! It's way better than StarNet IMO because it focuses on Tech instead of on alloys. Tech scales way harder and keeps the AI relevant late game, I've seen normal AI empire with 100K+ fleets that are keeping up with me having 10K+ research per month by like year 2300
For someone like me who plays on cadet or ensign because I just don't have time to really delve into playthroughs the ai has me bored. Im definitely going to check this out
StarTech AI on scaling grand admiral is amazing for a mid-late game continual challenge. Especially if you stay peaceful for the first 40 years while AI is building its base tech/eco. Much more fun than StarNet AI’s focus on early game rush IMO
I first tried startech ai on commodore (without scaling) and I did great up until the 2 empires that snowballed the most formed a fed and wrecked my fed just before year 2400. I then tried a couple games on grand admiral with scaling and have actually found them slightly too easy. Might give commodore a go again because it was a blast -- very difficult but fun. Basically, startech ai mod is the best.
Literally started this same run (but spiritualist) this morning thinking I was very clever and had never seen one before. Thanks for shooting me down on that thought.
among the recent full playthroughs this seems to be very potent. i mean you united the galaxy and still had decades before the crisis appeared. and like all the others it was very enjoyable
Likes for the algorithm god, comments for the comment throne! Also, always enjoy these long take videos as I generally binge watch your stellaris series
I love these full playthroughs. 2+ hours of Lathrix just being Lathrix. Amazing to listen to and to watch, especially when you keep us on our toes with it. Will he be loyal? or will he be "loyal"? Thanks!
These are by far my favorite videos to watch on RU-vid, there is many times I rewatch entire videos over again, I will watch these as long as I can and thank you for making them!
I have wanted to try a run like this for a while, but wasn't exactly sure how to make it since you can't do inward perfection and barbaric despoiler, but this seems like exactly what I was looking for. In hindsight, might have been the obvious answer lol
My first Inward Perfection run, after becoming the leading power after repelling the Great Khan and having the main fleet's passage home blocked by a bot empire that took ground behind them. I had to devlare war, then used the worm event to turn my pops militaristic. The drawback is playing a civic down, I cannot get rid of inward perfection it's disabled because we dropped pacifism and xenophobia is on the way out, with leadership of a trade league attained.
Ooh I like the empire name! I immediately thought that because of the more warlike side of the empire "Project Asgard" would be oddly fitting. Love all the good stuff Lath!
The Stellaris videos you put out have honestly influenced and changed the way I play the game entirely, and I've become a much better player since finding your channel. You're legendary!
Must have mods for enhanced gameplay without being broken: +Aggressive crisis engine +Startech AI +Planetary Diversity +Extra ship Components 3.0 +Guilli planets modifiers That's it. Guess you could add some more here and there, but i feel like just these make the feel of the game so much better. Be carefull with using multiple mods that work over similar things, shit can get broken very easily, even after a lot of time invested in the playthrough, which is infuriating.
Auto-Auto Explore and Auto Station Builder are ENORMOUSLY great tedium savers. A mod that improves migration rate also saves on micromanaging worlds. The Tiny UI mods makes it so you can actually see the worlds you've conquered.
Every time I see another one of these I think to myself “Oh boy what war crimes will he be committing today”. And I am never disappointed. Thank you for the vid, keep up the great work!
I would really love the option for synth empires to still assimilate some of their species into cyborgs instead of synths. As good as synths are, I find it really boring to just have 1 species with the limited perk pool of robots :(
Am doing an inward perfection/psionic playthrough now and had all 5 (3 of which in a hegemony together) neighboring empires declare war on me over the span of the first 50 years. Had to spend all my alloys defending my frontiers but inevitably beat them back. Was way ahead in tech and my planets were doing really well, and then I got the Chosen One around 2270 and turned into a Holy Empire who was hell bent on both revenge and supremacy. Honestly the best start to a Psionic ascension playthrough yet, Inward perfection has helped a lot with the growth issues of a typical psionic supremacist playthrough, and being able to remove it when I wanted was a game changer
Trying to fit 2 hours of one of my favourite type of video in my day... took me just more than half a day, between work and the ongoing football it's kinda hard. All the more satisfying to see. Keep it coming
Obviously this is for the algorithm, although i'd like too point out that scion might be a little too OP for you...? You're a already a really good player and i feel like the scion origin is for begginners. Nevertheless great job as always i'll dive into this video right away.
@@bromosome8049 i get the idea: an empire that loves aliens, but the race is dangerous just to be around so they self isolate so they don't kill everyone.
AGG!! I love these playthroughs!! I have Stellaris myself, but am lacking the Federations, Necroids, and Nemesis DLC's...and you'd be surprised how much that takes away from the experience. >_< I hate being so poor sometimes... but $47 is *a bit much* for 3 minor(ish) DLC's!! I'm jealous of those who have the DLC's.. and even MORE SO of those who are _given_ the DLC's because they do playthroughs of the game online! :P lol In all seriousness though.. I absolutely LOVE these full playthoughs, and am ALWAYS glad to see them uploaded. They're usually an infrequent "treat".. but during this whole month, we've ALL been getting treated to Stellaris from you, Lath. Thank you very much, dude! I know that playing, recording, re-recording (in some cases), and biggest of all.. EDITING these videos is extremely time consuming, and in some cases.. quite tedious. So I'm ESPECIALLY grateful to you for all of your hard work doing so. Hope all is well in England with your family!! And I know we all look forward to your return, more videos, and more Stellaris!! ^_^
Hello there ! Not much in the mod department for you apart from the obvious already mentioned by most people (altho I must speak up for "Always spawn galaxy guardians", "Shround expanded", and two new but very promising origin mods : "Miasma Origin" and "Living Planet", both of them quite recent and very fun when they work.) Other than that I must say that i absolutely love this format. Having some health problems for some time now, i'm kind of locked up at home unable to do anything productive exept play Stellaris all day long. Having a full playlist of short episodes of a long let's play is fun, but those very long episodes allow me to actually time my own sessions while listening to something I like. Also, i'm re-watching the older let's play on a regular basis (and I guess I'm not the only one) so I hope one day youtube will realize the potential of this longer format and actually support your work in a meaningfull way. Keep it up sir, you're doing a great job !
Pity that Inwards Perfection and Imperial Authority(I might be mixing the name, but the one with extra edict slot too) are incompatible. Devs are going a bit too hard on balancing the game for multiplayer.
Lathrix, when it comes to Picket class weapons, you should use flak at the start of the game because it has much higher tracking than point defense, but once you upgrade your point defense and max out your sensors and combat computer you should swap over. Both Picket weapons do the same DPS and will fire at strikecraft and missiles, but Point Defense becomes the better choice because it does more damage per shot. Also keep in mind that Flagella do not act as point defense, as neither they nor Scourge swarms were ever updated with that function when normal strikecraft were reworked. I think the same applies to all other NPC only strikecraft, like for the Grey Tempest and Contingency's AI Cores.
I adore the fact you are making videos you love even tho they might not be what the algorithm want. I always search for your name and watch your vids even if it's not recommended;
Loved the video I love the full play throughs and don’t worry about the shilling as you said it is only for these videos and being able to help out and bump it up in the RU-vid algorithm is great
I see more full Playthroughs so it seems we are doing our job promoting it to the algorithm :D Love these videos and hope we will always get more of these :DD
