It very hard to find a band that sounds and plays great LIVE. I've been to katy Perry concert. She doesn't song great live. Her voice is synthesise. Or something. Even Guns and Roses aren't as good LIVE. on record they sound good not LIVE.
Michael was the Jim Morrison of the 80s & 90s. I grew up in Sydney, watching INXS, in pubs as a teen, where the crowds at a good gig, would destroy the pub, just to create more area to do your own thing. Most gigs we would be high on something.....what lasting memories Michael, you gorgeous soul!!
Me,morg,Dave,lob, brownie,paddy, went to see INXS at the silver dome in Launceston waay back in 1985, ide just started dating Michelle Jamieson, gee whiz she was beautiful,ide have married her, but alas not to be, she'll be 59 years old on June 30 , many happy returns doosha (if you ever read this) loved the concert, loved Michelle even more xx Robbie
Watched this on TV rocking the royals. There was one guy in front that danced just like michael and Tim Ferris acknowledged him as he leaves the stags. Michael has a tear as he overwhelmed. There is nothing us Aussie we adored INXS.
I remember this night in Melbourne, only 20 at the time, hot cloudy humid night, missed out getting tickets to this concert, but for those who can remember? there was a video screen party underneath the Alexandra underpass fwy which joins on to the Art Centre where Inxs played, good night for all especially when Inxs made an appearance through a doorway on a balcony underneath this bridge where we were, gave a few waves and then disappeared.. never will forget.
Michael was really emotional after that song. Tim Farriss thanked the audience the way some guys mimic the way michael Hutchence danced. They loved him. I named my son after him
Who wears a long string of pearls and a leotard bottom? Michael Fucking Hutchence. And pulls it off. Which is why nobody will ever ever ever replace him.
Just finished playing along with this. Worked up a sweat and am amped at 1:20 am. Not exactly the greatest idea to play along with the best version of this _great_ song at this time on the clock!

I was JUST about to also agree, but then the song ended WITHOUT him??? WTF? He didn't SING the last 2 lines, the " Dooooon't Chaaaange" 's -Also my FAVORITE part. It was Frigging AWESOME, then ? ? WHY? Why wouldn't he finish such a Great performance- his voice was flawless? I'm really..BUMMED OUT about it! ...
ojo hay algunos que en sus comentarios dicen ,estupideces como que soda estereo se parece a inxs ,tambien burradas como que es mejor U2 ,La verdad escucho musica desde los 20 anos y inxs esta muy lejos de ser comparado con otros grupos,simplemente son geniales ,su unica comparacion seria con the doors y eso que seria dificil saber quien es mejor.
