Hutch was a amazing front man and singer. Don't think he was universally appreciated as such until he unfortunately passed away. He was exactly what a Rock Star should be.
The boys could still kick ass towards the end. This rendition of What You Need is a testament to their drive, energy and innovation. I miss these guys so much.

Michael Hutchence, you left the band and this world way too soon😢. Wicked singer. Wicked band. Thank you Michael for being you and the precious gifts you left us with. And, thank you INXS for your amazing sounds and for being the greatest band.
I wish Hutchence had simply quit music in order to live his life and not have killed himself. Everybody wanted a piece of him , he was in pain. He accomplished so much in the 20 years of the band. He deserved to live the rest of his live away from the entertainment circus which has destroyed so many sensitive and talented people.

Ditto. Just a brief hiatus for Michael to get his head right and they'd have remained on top. I don't think another band had their broad appeal. The void that INXS left is why U2 became the phenomenon that they were.
He would be 60 now, with his drug, alcohol and chain smoking habits catching up with him, not to mention the lesions on his frontal lobe from the attack in Copenhagen. And he was about to figure out that control over his millions had been taken by that crook Colin Diamond. Absolutely heartbreaking. I look at him, and want to wrap him in my arms and save him.
Learning about the fact that he had lost his smell and taste and all after that i guess this guy had just too much on his plate. But he did indeed deserve a whole lot better! My mother also has brain damage and also changed her character 100% so if i hear people say that also happened to him.. pff such loss
Michael was such charismatic frontman, this band was so incredible, it was such a great loss and the band never really recovered from the loss yes he was having so much trouble towards the end but no one was really expecting what ended happening. 😢 HUTCH will alway live in his music and in our hearts ♥️ and I feel so lucky to have seen them live concert in 1988 in Albuquerque New Mexico. They were incredible.
Timeless...Michael best frontman of all time. Shame his head injury with hounding Papparazi/drug use ended his time. Such a fantastic legacy of work by INXS
no one will ever have the charm, sex appeal, interaction with the audition, friendship like brothers with his band, or sing so sultry sexy hard soft you name it as Michael Hutch Hutchence..depression is a scary thing & the person feels so alone..it's heartbreaking how much he adored his daughter Tiger Lily (who looks identical to her daddy) also the love he had for Paula & her children..i believe he felt hopeless & alone before he actually was alone that morning..i only hope he found peace & was able to breathe again..your true fans love you still to this day..something i think would have made Michael very happy

Can’t believe how great this band was; just watching how they matured from the time they started out; over the 20 years man I just think Michael’s voice was amazing not many great singers like him,sorry that your life was taken so shortly. It was hard for him to walk the line;as he sang very well; and he couldn’twalk it;;it was too hard for him to stay disciplined, he tried though; RIP Michael!
I want to be Hutch for years. I admired him and still do. I hope 🤞😁🤗 he is in a better place. I also hope they ones who loved him can find peace. Emotional illness (depression, anxiety, bi-polar mood swings, PTSD, even the serious psychotic illnesses: schizophrenia and the related conditions) are truly no 😭 joke and could, and have deadly consequences. This devastates everyone left behind. Never minimize what someone else is going through. With a compassion and a non critical and no judgement, listen to.them . Help all can . Jesus loves everybody and so we all should.

Apparently they no longer had much private contact by then. The others had matured, had families, responsibilities, country estates, investments and business interests, while Michael was descending into booze, drugs, depression, kinky practices with professional providers, and a (self)destructive relationship with a charming, clever, pretty woman who suffered borderline personality disorder according to a psychologist. By then it was also dawning on him that he had handed control of his money to a ruthless shark, Colin Diamond. He did see a psychiatrist, but his brain injury was too severe. Terribly sad.
@@cosimavonliebenau8317 I believe he was so alone, while globe trotting spending years with women just so so, he had Paula, but it was dysfunctional or too much stress to cope with. England was unkind to him, to both of them taxing his sanity. He pressed on however and really promoted the album, did talk shows in the U.S. etc. He just did not appear to have a confidant, someone to turn to or rely on at any moment, which we all need. He tried at the very end, and no one 'got it' or was available. I am the kind of person who would have cared or noticed. Entertainment can be full of phonies, or people to party with always, but few are genuine. Wish he would have called his parents at the end. In any case I am not confident it was a suicide anyway.
@@janebraun4482 Michael was his own worst enemy. No one knew how bad his brain injury was, including him. A lot of ppl knew he wasn't well, but if he didn't ask for help soon enough, he is the only one to blame, unfortunately. Was he killed? Maybe. I really don't think it was necessary as it wouldn't take much to send someone with that severe an injury over the edge. That's what I believe happened. There was a reason he hated to be alone. It was because he didn't trust his judgement anymore. He was incapable of rationalizing even small, upsetting things. Truly the saddest story in Music. Rock on Michael ✌& ❤

I do, as Tiger did not receive a penny from his other company. I honestly think he did not realize that he had it separated, I think he thought his share sold go to his family and daughter.
