A tribute to a remote beach where some friends and I used to hang out :3 Special thanks to one oh one, Brady and Blues, the LGBTQ community, and scary bike gang (!!!). You guys rock. English isn't real. The only language is feelings
So at this point it’s pretty much a no-brainer that I absolutely love this. I’ve seen you wanting to branch out from your role as the compact builder in the community so much and i think that this is one of the first of many from you where you’ve built from your truest artistic mindset. Every single idea in this setup is so beautifully modest and wholesome, like there are so many parts that I just can’t get over. A lot of this video resembles the most serene domino chain ever to me, with the mindset of simply wanting to create a world of your imagination, which you know I absolutely love. So yeah I don’t really have much more to say other than I’m so glad that you’re discovering your truest values in domino art, and I’m honored to take part in that journey ☺️
my god that was soooo freaking awesome!! the setup just kept getting better and better, and it was very compact just like all of your other setups!! you used some extremely satisfying tricks, and toward the end, there were some super complex and risky tricks, and I love how you were so outgoing and added them in this large setup anyways!! also, I didn't spot that many cuts, and I'm surprised by how much of it worked due to how risky those tricks were. but sometimes you have to take risks so that it's not boring, which is exactly what you did ;) as well as that, there were some really nice designs and color combinations in this setup and it was a pleasure to watch it all fall :D overall, amazing job Twig and I'm glad that you're back on youtube with such an insane video! keep up the great work!!!
Conrad, this is absolutely beautiful. I'm a bit late leaving this comment since I've been watching this on repeat and it's kinda left me speechless. Even though this is the first time you've made a video in this style it feels like you've perfected it already. Overall the setup just feels so joyful and almost friendly in a way, the incredible music choice really enhances this vibe and i love how it syncs with the falldown too. I also really like the small detail with the light being on in one of the skyscrapers as well as how the sun matches up with the one on the wall. This video is honestly inspiring to me, although I've thoroughly enjoyed a lot of other artistic/expressive domino videos, this is the first one to make me really want to build in the style myself. Thank you for this setup, please never stop making stuff like this :)
Just wonderful. The combination of creativity, emotion, and music choice are just done beautifully, there's a certain feeling of magic that I rarely feel when watching videos like this one that showcase the art and tranquility in dominoes that is rarely seen besides through your vids, brady's, and gabe's. Simply fantastic.
omg the god is here!!!! the project was sooooooooo colorful and a lot of lovely colors here what a satisfying project and wow mukmuk traveled the beach in a cup and he enjoyed the beautiful beach very much awwww so cute!!!
and..........Twig is back with a setup that straight up blew my mind, wow! I really like the return of iconic compactness along with the many colourful scenes with interesting tricks. How many dominoes was this?
Beautiful setup. I love how the setup has creative, crazy hybrid tricks(seriously that swinging board was 👍) but still keeps that calm, tranquil flow. Well done on this! Also, how many dominoes were there? It looks like about 6000.
When my family visited Vancouver, we walked part of the Iona Beach jetty. I've always wanted to walk the rest of it. It stretches on so ridiculously far, and the rumble of the planes overhead makes it feel like such a transitive place. If I ignored those pesky horizons, I could almost pretend I was walking off the map on a gravel trail to some great beyond, flanked by driftwood and gulls and the wide, clean, windswept expanse of nature. I want to go back :)
