I chose the iPhone SE for the form factor and it's nice to see that even though it lacks 3D Touch, Apple is treating the phone with respect and it has found an alternative for most of the 3D options in order to make them work just like in the S model. Really nice work Apple 👍
The form factor is STEVE JOBS DESIGN ... it is small makes it usable in 1 hand only if it had 3D touch I could have claimed that My SE is better than 6S
I like the iphone se. I'm hoping one day I'll be able to purchase this since I really like the way it feels in my hand plus I have the iphone 5s. And the fact that 3D touch is like a quick shortcut and I said to myself that I might use it in an apple display store for fun but not when I purchase it because I might forget this iphone 6 has the 3D touch if you think about it. I'm curious of what apple could make next if the iphone in the near future could go back to this style of design but in comparison in size of the iphone 6 as well as a new high res screen in ultra 4k or ultra oled and also a brand new interface. Just thoughts but I know apple have been lacking when it came to their new release of the iphone 7. I'm not an apple follower per say. I'm mostly invested in technology that can change looks and interfaces that compliments mechanics with software.
On the SE however you can access today view which is your personal spotlight screen on lock screen and from your default home screen and still from the notification Center
But i more prefer Android nougat/7.0/my Samsung Galaxy S6.my iPhone Se also get iOS 10 but iOS 10 copied Android😬,and don't forget Apple Music iOS 10 also copied Spotify😠,me of course Spotify😊.
I don't understand, basically press and hold can basically replace 3d touch, why doesn't they make press and hold in the control center? I am so used to press-and-hold-to-bring-up-options because I am windows phone user, and press and hold for options actually make a shit ton of sense
Thanks for sharing valuable infos on this topic. I m planning to buy iPhone SE in the early next year. Yes I m one of those who still likes the smaller phones. Lol.
They could have easily used the press and hold on many things in place of 3D touch but simply because it does not serve their agenda they don't let you do that.
A very much helpful video, I was waiting for this type of review eagerly, I have bought se, but haven't reached yet, seems like lack of 3d touch won't disturb me that much
Thanks for making this video! Was looking for this exact thing because I recently switched over from android to iPhone SE, as I wanted a small phone without much compromise on performance.
3D touch is one of the most useless gimmicks on the iPhone. I have the SE and I couldn't care less if my phone lacked it or not, because I wouldn't use it. This is coming from a person that's very tech savy.
I'm using a 6S at the moment, but did consider an SE. I'm happy with my choice because the screen is more suitable for watching videos, even though I was tempted by the more manageable hand size of the SE. The clever way that Apple have made some of these 3D Touch features available in non-3D Touch handsets in iOS 10 makes you realize that it wasn't a very necessary addition to their phones from here on out. I enjoy it, but there are clearly a lot of ways they could give people the same features without the need for the force sensitive screens. Just goes to show that a bit of clever thinking and you can create a whole new dimension of OS interface with software alone. Great stuff!
Great video! Thanks. I'm considering an iPhone SE for my next phone. My contract is up for renewal in December. My HTC One(M8) is acting up; I suspect its the software. HTC seems to have forgotten about their older model users. No other phones seem good enough to me. Finger print readers on the back are not for me and neither is average battery life.
I use 3D touch to get to the app switcher. And with raise to wake and hey Siri, I barely use the home button unless I have the phone laying on a table. I'm hoping the next SE comes with 3D touch.
Hello. I have the iPhone SE, what I noticed on the video is that in iMessage on your se you have to ability to see a contact photo in your messages, my phone does not give me that option.
Good video, thank you. My first iPhone is the SE since last November and I am very happy. I am in ios 10.3.1. It is beautiful, fast and smooth. I do not have the 3Dtouch so. Is the 3D touch really useful on a daily basis? For those who went from iphone 5,6 to 6s or 7 feel you a real plus? Thx, bye.
I'm wondering, is clear all notifications only on the 6s? You can delete a certain amount of notifications by pressing the x(clear) option, but with 3D Touch you can delete all. I'm not sure if there's an option for non 6s/+ users.
There doesn't seem to be. But with how iOS 10 notifications have become much better, spending a couple extra seconds on it shouldn't mean much You only have to press the X multiple times if it's a notification from a previous day otherwise it'll clear all notifications from the present day as well. I doubt you'll be keeping a notification up there past a day
I see many bloggers which can't read mail or do they just get a bunch of spam.) Anyway, they don't know how use a post, thousands of unread emails directly talking about it. If you don't know what to do with mail, just turn it off.
okay 4:53 someone plzzz tell me how he get this little circle near of the contacts name at the top of his iphone SE i have the iphone SE and theres no little circle 🙄🙄i want the circle it makes it look cute 🙊🙊🙊😂😂😂
I am thinking in buying the iphone SE, because i want a smaller phone and still some good power in it. I play a lot of pokemon go (as mostly anyone). I have a htc m8 and a iphone 5s. it's incredible how the iphone 5s works so much better than the htc, plus the htc heats after 20 minutes, i cant even hold it. the 5s simply heats a little for all day. battery is a also huge difference. so that's why i want to upgrade to the SE. pokemon go works well on the SE? i mean it has a higher processor power than the 5s, but that's what i'm afraid heats up the phone.
thanks for the reply :) i was afraid of the heat. do you think it's too much to handle it? or it's just a little. because htc (or android for that fact) it's almost impossible to touch after 30 minutes or so.
ah so the processor power counts a lot. because i have an iphone 5 and really you cant almost even notice the heat. all day basically. and the battery is better to. maybe it's because it has lower specs. i don't know it's weird. again thanks for the reply :)
Are you serious? Because of the overheating on one of the shittiest HTC devices ever(which has a full-aluminium body), you jumped to a conclusion that "all android phones are overheating and it's impossible to touch them after 30mins of usage"? Have you ever had an S7? Try to overheat that, do anything you want to, literally anything. By the way, the full-aluminium body iPhone will get hotter faster than the S7. And about the battery life, the 5s may have a better battery life than the M8, but try comparing it to another android phone. Let's say the S7. In my country the SE is 50-60 euros cheaper than the S7, so I think it's not worth buying.
