I know these videos are a ton of work and can take a toll to make, but you do them the best by far by having a comparison phone and being so detailed - Always appreciate these videos!
This is exactly the reason why Brandon is at the top of my RU-vid Subscribers, his videos are so granular and detailed and that is what I love and need 🙏🏾🙏🏾
iOS 17 wishlist: 1. Mini player for Files 2. Wi-Fi Data Usage 3.Share Wi-Fi pass Via QR code 4. Object Eraser for Photos app 5. Pause button ⏸️ for video recording 6. Software Update percentage 7. App Store update size( it shows the app size) 8. More functions for screen recording 9. Multiple Timers and naming for timers ✅ 10. Call recording 11. Spilt screen 12. AI Siri⚡️ 13. Numbers stock on top of keyboard 14. Remove pop ups for low 🪫 warning 15. Interactive widgets ✅ 16. Customize lock screen (camera and flash app)
Awesome video. I like this iOS 17 update quite a bit, even though there doesn’t seem to be a ton of new features like years past. The features that Apple has added this time around are all meaningful and definitely ones I can take advantage of.
Sad that EverythingApplePro is not active anymore. This almost hour long videos showing animations and almost every single feature remind me of those iOS 13 videos. Killing it man!
iOS 17 is decent. It fixes a lot of the mess from iOS 16. But I was really hoping for a lot more consistency between all the UI, (Phone, Contacts, Mail, etc…) they’re still using the outdated iOS 14 UI. Was also hoping for more customization and some new battery chart options. Still waiting for them to sort out the animation fluidity, and consistency. It’s just so bad. Also wanted a better photos app. There’s so much room for improvement.
For it being beta 1, it's pretty stable minus the shutter here and there. I'm positive iOS 17 is all about performance. Hopefully they make message notifications come from the dynamic island in beta future updates.
I think it would be nice if you could choose your own pictures from your photo library, or that Apple could make slideshows out of special pictures like animals, food etc. like they already do in Pictures
Wow thank you so much for this very detailed video! I love the side by side comparison, it’s so helpful and I can’t wait for IOS 17. I just wish that Apple would give us more customization options for iMessage 💬 where we can change bubble colors, background etc….. Again thank you for this video.
I will definitely be using the search feature in messages. Was literally just thinking that it would be nice to have something like this, and now we’re finally getting it.
This vid was impressive. I cannot speak for others, but I appreciated how you broke down so many things into a very educational format that even I could follow.
This may be a small update (which seems to be a given now, since the modern smartphone has peaked in many ways), but I do appreciate all those little changes. Almost none of them feel unnecessary or gimmicky. Just overall great quality of life improvements!
Journal is the feature I’m most excited for, I was going to update to the Dev (AppleSeed in my case) Beta on Day One before I found out that it won’t be available until later this year :(. I’ll update to iOS 17 Beta once Journal is available 😅
Lots of those features are on many Android phones since ages. I was thinking of getting an Iphone as a matter of change in experience, but due to similar videos, it seems like I'm getting few years back in technology with the lack of so many practical features. Hopefully, these are being added
@14:47 How exactly is it easier to press now? I don't see why they had to move it to the top in all honesty! Losing consistency with interactions being at the bottom.
One of the biggest quality of life changes I want to see is them re-adding the 'Play Later' button in Apple Music. I don't know why they ever removed it, because I never use the 'Play Last' button, and it's nice for planning ahead with what songs you want to listen to...
Good lord, your narration voice is so soothing and comfortable to listen to with such great flow. Definitely my favourite account for apple news. Bravo!
Great video! But, I’m disappointed in iOS 17. I feel like the newest features could’ve been easily added to iOS 16. Apple had the opportunity to really do a complete UI change, & they dropped the ball, imo. iOS 17 could’ve been a new introduction to something completely different for Apple & could’ve pulled more towards the android audience with different features, looks, etc. I feel like if we keep accepting minimal from Apple they’ll continue to do so. 🤷🏽♀️ Hopefully with the public release it’ll change my mind.
In my opinion, apple isn't going to try to sway android users by imitating some of their features, otherwise it will just be another homogenized copy of android. They want to be distinct in the design philosophy and as long as John Ivey is there, its going to lean towards minimalism. I see them changing the UI in a couple years, maybe ios 20 but not in the near future unless there is a practical reason to like if phone sales are slowing down or if current os is widely criticized.
So I was told we can rename any group chat including ones with android users in them. Can you confirm that iMessage features like that work on sms chats, especially group chats? Thank you for the vid. Really helpful
This is all great. I really wish they had just two more additions. 1. Getting a complete charge notification on the iPhone for the airpods case like how we have it for the watch. 2. The volume buttons dictate the entire volume change for both media and phone calls. If we could get two options while changing the volume..one for media & one for phone call that would have been great. That way we can have better control. Hopefully this gets added in the future versions.
The "false triggers" section was funny after actually seeing a false trigger happening around 6:36 when he was speaking about the feature. Additionally when the activation should happen around 6:58, there was a cut in the video 😄
@@Yes-uf2je yes I did but since I couldn’t use any repair software cuz everything I tried wanted me to pay some kind of subscription so I tried using iTunes on both PC and Mac that didn’t work so I used the macs new way of doing where you plug in your phone put it in DFU mode and then you can’t update it but you can recover it which will wipe it to factory default so I always recommend having an iCloud backup saved!
Great video as always. I love these because it saves me time finding all the little features I would’ve otherwise had to happen upon by accident. It’s fun finding them but I know I miss a lot of features on my own.
I'm loving this update... sure; I wanted more features that just the nice to have stuff but they still delivered... I'm excited for the Journal app and for Live Stickers!! NameDrop looks super sleek and cool and I love that it doubles into sharing too
Hey Brandon! So funny story, when you said "Siri, how's the weather today" my Siri actually also activated 😂🤭 but that's because my computer was loud enough to hear you say "Siri" I swear I am not making this up lol
