Yes the HTC weather widget did the windshield wiper thing. That widget was so popular I felt like I saw it on every Android phone and it was even a jailbreak tweak I used for a while. For a couple years that widget was everywhere.
I did it by manually dragging EVERYTHING over, manually, did I say everything? (Hoarder of apps) manually as in by finger tap hold drag method haha I’ll stop but yeah, are there other perhaps easier ways to do it now? I’ve had it for a while I don’t recall what version I did that on. But nice clean blank actual home page, then. Swipe over and game over. Illusion immediately comes undone.
Hey Jon and Sam! Big fan of the show. I’m really excited to see where apple vision will take us in the future. I was wondering what your thoughts are on the visor 4K headset. Do you actually think it will come out and be a serious competitor to the vision pro?
I thought they put the m series chips in the iPad for production reasons to not have different production lines and to use up binned chips, but I do think maybe the neural engine in m4 might be needed to do the new ai stuff efficiently enough for the new design’s thermal envelope, or that m1-3 will only get a basic version of the new features while the 4 will get the full deal. Just a guess

Why isn’t there anyone complaining about apple failing to actually implement basic functions where they are ACTUALLY EXPECTED? Why isn’t there anyone complaining about apple pissing on testers and their feedback and still going for the new emojis and wallpapers but NO STANDARD FUNCTIONALITY even for THEIR OWN SOFTWARE!
Siri has always been off device for complicated tasks so the new AI Siri wouldn’t actually have worse privacy than the current Siri unless they send the data to OpenAI
I actually love my Apple TV. As long as the internals are in a way that the performance is the same I don’t mind. Keep my Apple TV internal hardware good.
The Apple TV console is the most overpowered streaming box on the market. The software will never work in a baked in concept. The only way it’s gonna work is if Apple makes the TV. Sam is correct.
This may be an unpopular opinion- but I think this “AI” stuff is …not my thing. I don’t want someone telling me “the answer “. There’s value in context/ critical thinking/ nuance/ etc etc .

Sam you can hold the iPad Mini with one hand and is much lighter. I think you out grew the mini and missed the point lol. Also i like that you don"t whine about your policies I like that you are the most mature liberal i have seen. love this video podcast keep it up. Jon you are awesome too.
AI is going to make low cost iPad into tutor for education. AI is going to make iPad mini into a personal assistant with easy note taking and filing notes and watching video. Snazzy Labs and Sam think that I need complex file management. Most iPad users do not need Max software. Bigger iPads are still less than most Mac pros, except very high end and high end iPads serve to do some limited business functions without getting too complicated or requiring add costs to do limited computing. Hopefully AI makes iPads able to do most of what a Mac does without the complication or cost.
Sam doe not get it at all with the ipad mans like “if you have 1800$ you should never buy a ipad m4 you should just spec up a m3 mac book air” Bro still doesnt get it the Mac is the Mac and will always be The Ipad is a ipad Its not a macbook or a laptop at all its a ipad and the keyboard gives you better accessibility to do tasks like typing notes or Everyday school tasks don’t dont say you understand and then immediately retract your statement lol.. Me and My fiance both in college and 70% of students in class are using ipads with magic keyboard not mac book airs the power in the macbook is not needed for basic tasks and 90% of people dont buy the M4 ipad they get a m2 ipad air or base ipad 10th gen🤦♂️ Just re try to rethink again
Tell Apple that they need to fix the software n make it iPadOS use your voice to make Apple listen to you to make the iPad better everything about is just ok n it costs way too much money for the average person like me ❤😮😊
