For anyone wondering… After successfully doing this process YES, YOU CAN turn stolen device protection and/or find my back on. It does not need to stay off after, only during the process. This means after your phone or iPad comes back on and you get back in you can immediately turn it back on and nothing will happen to the phone by enabling after this has been applied.
relatively detailed explanation: a version of the siri plist with the new siri ui has been leaked, and cowabunga lite simply replaces the old one with the new one by “restoring” the device with this information its not as dangerous as you think, if you update it just reverts back still be careful tho

@@Positive_Mindset28 no, the Siri .plist method was patched in beta 2. I have not seen anyone replicate this on beta 2 so far (including from the original founder of this method).
If you are on Mac, there is a slightly different set of steps you must do, I’m gonna assume you tried the Mac link in the description? It’s the same process almost just different location for files. I would also recommend trying it once or twice and make sure the .plist file is there
I just downloaded it to iphone 15 pro max, living in Norway, but it didnt work. I got the old siri again, not the new one. I did all the stepst. Any tips?

installed this on my iphone 13 pro and iphone se. for the iphone se it worked fine, for the iphone 13 I got the nudge animation on the side of the screen but nothing else. No screen light up still the little siri bubble a the bottome... please help!

It does change a bit of how it behaves, responds and acts but not the full Apple Intelligence experience yet. There are definitely noticeable changes and if you’re on an iPhone 12 or newer it will probably run better than current Siri and it just overall feels nicer

Thank you tho, But I found a solution by asking ChatGPT: I was installed an SSL Proxy Certificate, I just remove it from General VPN Section and delete any vpn configuration And it’s works perfectly!
You should be able to revert with a backup (assuming you did make one atleast some time before the tweak) if you didn’t make a backup don’t worry there’s still options, you can go back through the process with cowabunga just remove the .plist file and try applying changes without it, if that doesn’t change it try the “revert tweaks” button on the apply screen, if that doesn’t work and you end up out of options then a full clean reinstall of iOS 18 may be required
No, the official release of Apple Intelligence and Siri 2.0 will come out tomorrow (June 23). However this is probably still limited to iPhone 15 pro and pro max devices

@@maybenoyesok If imma be honest, i believe it’s going to be limited to phones with actual Siri 2.0 because it’s going to be very obvious that whoever is using it has a newer iPhone and can be highly distinguishable from old Siri. My guess, it’s going to be limited to new iPhones with Siri 2.0. As for older phones without Apple Intelligence I assume it’s going to stay how it was and not change. I could be wrong and Siri could still be updated but I highly doubt it.
It’s safe in the sense of applying it and using it, only real suggestions from me is don’t try this on any mini series devices or older iPads as it will probably have issues (visually)… That being said, as long as you don’t use this on older iOS updates and iPhone 8’s or older like some users have done, you shouldn’t have issues. Just make sure you make a backup with iTunes or iMazing in the event something goes wrong or you just don’t end up liking it. That way it’s easy to just go back.
In Siri settings there’s a new term called Greymatter which is iOS 18’s AI stuff for Siri I believe. It’s showing on my iPhone 13 Pro Max so I’m wondering if there is also a way to get AI to work on any iOS 18 device too
Apparently some people have gotten this to work on iPhone SE and iPhone 8+ running iOS 16, I HIGHLY don’t recommend that, maybe just stick with iOS 18 but if you don’t have developer beta, and you’re on like a 12 pro or something give it a try and if it’s bugged just restore from backup
There’s windows version or Mac version to do this on your iPad or IPhone. If you have neither pc’s/laptops, you just have to wait for the official AI full release.
Aslong as you are on iOS 18 and atleast on a somewhat recent iPhone like iPhone Xs and newer, this should work and if it failes or has bugs, you just want to restore from a previous backup before doing this
