@mykeldg Oh no... was thinking of getting one NAD C356BEE after listening your comparison video, the opening of No Sanctuary Here was thunderous with the NAD.
Nad, the clear winner here. The Onkyo sounds rather veiled when compared. Adding a dac would improve things with the Onkyo? Or is it just its sound signature despite an external dac??
they indeed have different sound signatures. Nad has that powerful sound but kind of lean and less full in the middle. Onkyo sounds less controlled less clean but for me, more rich and juicy. Funny thing is the Nad here is using $100 dac and onkyo is using $600 dac 🤣
