Thank god I grew up doin this! My old man gave me my first bow when I was 8 years old and ive been hooked ever since! Love the show man! Definitely one of the best out there!
We do have some dandy bucks here in Iowa , glad you got a nice one , Nick too ! I finally got one of the multiple 400+ pounders when I was 47 years old , in 2004 . My buck field dressed 328 lbs and had a non typical rack on a basic 8 point . Gross score was 169 , net 158 non typical by crossbow , as I have been disabled since 1986 having been injured in vehicle accidents . I have seen possibly 4 bucks that were live weight over 400 lbs in the 50 + years of deer hunting . I retired as a Taxidermist and Custom Knifemaker , and my knives were featured on the Outdoor Channel from 1998-2004 on the AdventureBound Outdoors show as the Signature Series knives for them . All deer antler handled heirloom quality hunting knives with personal hand engravings on them . I hope that the next time you are here , that you are blessed with a 400+ pounder , just so you know that I am telling the truth. My buck is listed on the Iowa Conservation website . It started out as number 4 , I think it is around 15 now , with bigger racked bucks easing mine down the scale , but , I don't mind . Getting a chance at a buck like this was magical for me , and we have taken plenty of big boys over 325 as well , so , get back here and getcha some , Kip .... I would love to see the look in your eyes when you do ... Good hunting in 2020 , the year of perfect vision !
Crazy how my morning routine of ESPN radio has been replaced with Kip and all his shows! This show has really pulled me in and i have now officially watched the ENTIRE SERIES 3 times! Now my 2nd favorite "celeb" hunter only behind Mr. Waddell. This is how a hunting show should be! Hunting is FUN and its annoying how shows can get too dark and slow and almost depressing at times. Keep up the great work Kip! And come hunt my ranch on the Yellowstone river! Its been too long since you were this way! I live in Helena and i know how good Three Forks is, but come back over Hysham way and ill gladly show you a good time!
Man we appreciate that more than you know!! We've been wanting to get all these episodes out on RU-vid for a while and we can't thank y'all enough for watching!! Ole Waddy is some great company to be with!!
@@Red_Arrow not a problem. I love the content keep it up maybe next year I’ll start recording my hunts If I can use some the famous K.C analogies!!!??? And P.S.A. I too love shooting doe 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Red Arrow You gotta make it happen man. I want one! Scratch that, I NEED one! Last year I put four arrows into my bull before he went down. I had one stinking arrow left and an unfilled cow tag in my pocket. I was picking up bloody arrows off the hillside and sticking them back in my quiver as I went to try to chase down a cow. A man needs more than five arrows in some situations;)
This is a homemade quiver made from two old ones I used. Pretty sure one was an old Martin quiver but don't remember the other. Need to break this one back out - love it!
