Iowa Interstate through Sheffield 

I noticed the ones in Chilicothe did that as well. We chased this train down to the depot there.

Went through there last weekend, and the light assemblies have been replaced with new LEDs.

I believe it was how the Rock Island liked to set their crossings originally. Interestingly, on these ones, the gate lights also don't come on until the gates begin to lower.

@@freebrickproductions Ive noticed that too. As if the lights and bell are completely wired separately from the gates and gate lights.
