Grandmaster Chu Shong Tin was the 3rd student of Ip Man.
Ip Man called him "Siu Nim Tau Wong (小念頭王)" or "Siu Nim Tau King ".
Grandmaster Chu Shong Tin was also my Teacher.

"The Empty hand Forms of Wing Chun are not fighting techniques". This is what Master Chu would always say to us while we are practicing. "You must find the idea behind each movement, what forces and ideas are being cultivated, how can we produce power with as little brute force as possible. What is Nim Tao..."
Master Chu's take on the forms were different to most. Ip Man also had a very similar take on the forms which is why he told him that the purpose of Siu Nim Tao's practice is to "cultivate an idea"
