You explained this very nicely, thank you. My little brother just broke the glass of my iPad 2 with a punch, and since I live in Venezuela, there's no way to pay $30 to $50 for a replacement :'( However, if I somehow get to buy a replacement, I'll use this video to guide me through the process.
