My Home button does not register any click after screen replacement. Do you have any idea? It does not break as i try install original screen and it works fine. 😢
I did the replacement and everything seems to work fine except the home button is not responding? I don't see anything wrong and everything was in tact - any ideas?
Anybody knows why when i turn on the ipad just before home screen appear it goes black and i can't turn it on. To turn the screen on i have to hold the power button and tap "X" to cancell. It's something related with the touch i guess Tried many screens, different providers, same problem
Thank you! I'm up and running after this tutorial. for some reason my sleep button does not turn the ipad off, but I can use it to shutdown the ipad & restart. I was in a pinch without the tape and had to use super glue on the frame to glass which seems to have worked fine so far. Thanks again!
I broke the clip when trying to replace the home button (where the ribbon is inserted to). I bent it the opposite way. Some of the metal also broke. At this point, did I ruin it? It still will slide in there. or do I need to replace that from the old ipad? and how do I do that?
