I prefer small pocketable phone with excellent camera and iPad Mini Pro with excellent display. If Mini 7 has OLED, more ram and better cpu I will upgrade. If this just a typical Apple money-grabbing 1% improvement type of upgrade, I will skip it 100% of the times.

Screen size between the pro max and iPad mini is big enough to warrant it. I’m gonna stick with my 13 pro max for another year and get the iPad mini 7

Thanks for the iPad mini 7 leaks. All of that sounds good but for my older tired eyes, I hope they do something about making the apps and text on the home screen larger and spread them out more to take up the full screen real estate more efficiently, especially if they make the bezels thinner. Because in the current iPad mini, the apps are bunched closely together with wasted space on the home screen and the text is too small. I hope they fix that design flaw in the upcoming iPad mini 7.

Pro max is tiny compared to mini . Max cannot replace mini

I need them to shave those bezels off like EXPEDITIOUSLY and make it way lighter. It will fit so much more comfortable in the hand. Also add an e-reader function where you go in to settings and swipe it on and it gives the e-ink illusion. Samsung has the super battery saving mode which pretty much disables all apps except for 6 that you choose. 70% battery charge will last four days! I would love that capability in the Apple universe or maybe WiFi charging. 🙂 But you already told us what to expect 😉

I bought an IPad mini 6 last week with 64 GB and installed CoD mobile on it, and it already has taken up 32 GB😂 that’s not including the additional 14 GB that the Apple system takes up which is ridicules. I didn’t get the 256 GB option since I already have an IPad Pro and my IPhone Pro Max, but having the Apple system taking away nearly 22% of the base storage is outrageous

I’m waiting for the iPad mini. They said early spring 2024. I can’t wait for it , I hope next month it will be released. I hope the base is 128 mb.

I’ll be getting new iPad mini I have the MacBook Air 2024 and the iPhone 15 pro max. I’ll get the iPad mini for reading, videos, and games. iPhones are too small to read on and I don’t want to use my phone for everything.

Jelly scrolling is absolutely noticeable at 60fps when scrolling vertically. Going from 120hz (iPhone) to 60hz is also a really jarring experience. Really hoping for a 120hz screen in the next update.

Going to sell my Mini 6 for the Mini 7 when it comes out. I’ll hold on on my 13 Pro Max for one more year till the 17 comes out

they may announce it in September along with the phones as one of those one more thing give me they used to use. Or they may wait until October or November and do it as a press release. It never hurts to wait until you see if you're impressed with the next models before you buy nowif you're not impressed chances are this your model will be a little cheaper than the new ones and save you a little extra money

I really like an iPad focus on reading and note taking I think this iPad is perfect for that could be another kind of screen technology more gentle with the eyes.

I am really looking forward to an updated iPad mini. The forfactor of the mini is one that really works for me and I would really like to have a upgraded processor even if the display doesn't get upgraded to OLED.

Currently debating whether to wait for iPad mini 7 so I just want to make sure I understand, so they said we’ll get the announcement for iPad mini 7 before the year is over? I'll be replacing an iPad Pro with the new mini 7. Apple refuses to give give us Mac OS on the iPad which would make the added cost of the Pro model more palatable. Also, with pencil support and the smaller form factor it would integrate better into my daily routine. There are times that my Pro is to unwieldy and cumbersome to use.

[3:20] M series chip would not be a bad idea for an iPad Mini / Pro. I always find it interesting how people feel they know what people want or need, or especially how they are using a particular device… If Apple builds a capable device, be amazed how people will utilize its capabilities beyond what many could comprehend… 🤔

I know this maybe will sound weird but I would love so much to get the Mini 7 yet I know I won’t like it… indeed I’m holding on to my Mini 5th gen only because of the rounded edges make it way more ergonomic and easier to hold and balance when surfing in bed : such a nice fine design why did they go for that uniform thickness 😢😅I bought a Mini 6 and returned it because of how annoying that was; the thing kept falling and hitting my nose ! and since I only use the Mini to surf, watch RU-vid etc it can still do the job🤞An IPhone Pro Max is not a solution either because I find it too cumbersome to carry a large phone when I go shopping etc..( I have a IPhone 15 and that’s plenty big)…So it sounds like I won’t be able to part with my money just yet and not for lack of desire…Any other bed surfers out there having the same challenge?!

I hate phones that large, sticking with my SE3 til its out of support. I’m still using a Mini 4 and have yet to understand whining about bezels. As for needing AI, just nonsense

7 inch iphones looks ridiculous srs when is it gonna stop when its the size of an ipad mini? Its like those people who keeps getting botox even though its doing the opposite to them. I get that people wanted a flashier phone but geez i remember when phones that are small are cool. Bring back iphone mini!

@FaizAly cuz US carriers aren't selling them like the bigger iphones, bigger iphones gets promoted more and people think more expensive = better cuz dumb apple sheeps only see the value when they are more pricey compared to others. Iphone mini needs to be promoted more.
