Urg its SOO close to being SOOOOO good. Thinner bezels, with OLED and 120hz would have been amazing. EDIT: My jelly scroll test on screen, so inaccurate. Jelly scroll will happen when on sides refresh rate refreshes quicker or slower than the other so youll see the UFO going in waves. My bad fam. This is what happens with first look reviews. So fast you miss details.
That would probably cost just slightly less then the 11 inch pro, I’d guess intro price at 800-900 for wifi 256 gb. Which would be fine, I’d buy it, but I assume Apple did the math and there wasn’t enough demand to justify, which makes sense. Pro features, pro pricing….
I think the bezels are for holding the iPad since its supposed to be a portable device. Some can't wrap their hand around it the same way you hold an iPhone so the bezels prevent accidental touches.
My wish was for Apple to have created a mini iPad Pro. Brought back the iPhone mini And then i could have added a pro Mac mini m4 and had the ultimate mini setup. To go along with my mini budget.
I actually traded in my 11 PRO for this one. Even though I’m losing some features, portability is more important to me. And with the trade I only paid $164. Would love a Mini Pro, but this will do for now.
Great video bro - quick comment: the jelly scroll is visible in portrait, so the test needs to be done with the lines moving from top to bottom, rather than sideways. I tested the mini 6 back when it came out and it was super visible in slow motion. Personally I barely see it in person and it doesn't bother me
Yes you are right what I needed to do was show the scrolling on that test to see if the UFO moves weirdly. On sides refresh rate should be faster than the other and it should wobble. But it seems to have been fixed. On my iPad Mini 6, its noticeable to my personal eyes when scrolling. Its annoying for some and for others it doesn't matter!
The people who complain about “no OLED,” “giant bezels,” “no Face ID,” and “last year’s chip” are the ones who don’t even buy iPad minis. They wouldn’t pay $699 for “pro” features in a device that’s not meant for that. The iPad mini isn’t for them, so they should stop acting like they’re not buying it because of the so-called “missing” pro features.
@@sergiocampos2056What makes it even funnier is that you’d think Android OEMs would fully take advantage of this since Apple is so slow to update their mini iPads but nope, the high end compact tablet Android Tablet market is basically non-existent today because nobody buys them. Heck Samsung didn’t even bother updating the universally praised Galaxy Tab S9 base model this year due to poor sales 😂
Heres a Comment! And I gotta say, that I've been a sub for a long time and I never got a chance to watch your other videos besides the iPhone Vids, but now I am and I'm loving every second of watching them because your videos are really really catch my eye because they're so good and Inspiring, especially when I'm making content on my own channel. Your content from a scale of 1-10 it would be a solid 20. Thank You for the AWESOME content, Andres! Keep it up, and I'll be here when you hit 1M Subs.
This is why I simply have a Z Fold. It's an iPad Mini (with all the "missing" features) and a phone, and it actually does fit in my pocket and can connect to an external display for some "real work."
@@Spyke_misc nobody pays retail on a Fold. If you have pretty much anything to trade in you can get a Fold for around $1,000 or less. Either way, the cost of an iPad Mini and iPhone is about the same as a Fold.
Only the people who used iPad mini will know how useful and powerful the new iPad mini is. Anyway, you guys have made the best video again, keep going 🔥🔥
I’ve always been a fan of Apple’s Mini lineup. The 13 Mini, Mac Mini, iPad Mini. Not just because they’re compact, but because they’re perfect for those of us who value smaller devices without sacrificing performance. But lately, I feel Apple is starting to treat the Mini lineup as their “SE” version, minimal, but not in a good way. The new Mac Mini 7 is a perfect example. Sure, it’s compact, but it’s nowhere near as powerful as it should be. If we love the “Mini” products, it’s not because we want to compromise. We want small and powerful. It’s time for Apple to rethink the Mini. A smaller device doesn’t mean it should come with lower specs. Let’s keep the form factor we love, but give us the power and performance that can stand on its own.
Very sick video! I’m still debating between this Mini or iPad 11 (if it ever comes out this year) but now I know the jelly scroll is gone and this could be useful
I think the jelly scroll had more of an impact on vertical scrolling, not horizontal? I might be wrong. I've looked at the mini 6 in the Apple Store. Didn't seem like a major issue either way. But, to be fair, I don't really notice 120hz on an iPhone or iPad compared to 60hz.
thank you for reviewing the jelly scrolling issue , i don't understand youtubers like Nikias Molina, he made two videos of 30 min about the new ipad mini and he didn't mention the most known issue about it "if they fix the jelly scrolling issue !!
Even miniLED would have been a much welcomed improvement if it were also 120hz. Personally, I would have been happy with everything we actually got, plus the aforementioned. Any heavy work can be done on my Mac.
I found out something good after watched one RU-vidr. Phone should be a phone. Laptop or iPad is for main work and fun. Better to spend extra money for a main device and buy cheap phone. My next phone will be smaller - 15 Pro Max is too big. As for Apple ecosystem is good to have MacBook/basic iPad with a smaller phone.
Great analysis, thank you! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
First of all, good content and well produced video. Good you're honest with what we all think about the screen. So... I'll just have to wait a few years for iPad Mini 8 then, 60hz is no go for me. If it made it cheaper then maybe i could consider it.
I am glad that they left the outside of this iPad untouched. That way all the older accessories will fit. Thank you Apple. Fujifilm does this with the X100. All in all I'm glad the iPad mini is still around. It only represents 5% of all iPad sales. It is the iPad that everyone loves, but nobody buys. This mini will be my third one perfect travelling companion.
I don't know but it's always a pleasure when you vlog and do you thing , can you tell us the appli you use for your video ? And I see that you can speak french to ,and i guess you speak Spanish to , can you do some video about the way you did to perform to speak all this language etc etc ? And Always thanks bro
I don’t mind a little bezel for grip while reading. But no product in 2024 should launch with 60hz refresh rate. The fact it’s a pro feature for Apple is insane.
Yo Andres bro, it's a very great video, but at an unusual time. I mean, the usual time is Sunday, but this video upload might be because of the embargo 😊
I think we can survive with it with apps, games, streaming, etc. However, if I want to keep it long term and with many software and app updates, 128 GB is not enough.
Funny you mention realtors, that’s me, I trying to figure out how I can benefit from my iPad Pro M1 for things just like you said. Considering selling it, any thoughts anyone?
Samsung is moving forward with new features, including an S-pen, 90-120 refresh rate, face recognition, and higher RAM. Why does Apple continue to remain behind with 60 Hz (especially for iPhone 16), expensive Apple pencil, no OLED, and 8 GB RAM on MacBooks ( which is criminal for its price )?
