The colour is georgous, i wish the ipad air was also in this pretty purple shade. Even it's very functional and powerful device, it's litte too small for me. Just a bit bigger than my personal phone (thats right, android here), but still so cute device 💜

PURPLE?! It's finally time to upgrade my old iPad mini with Retina display (iPad mini 2). I'm looking to get exactly what you got. Only $799 for the iPad mini. Considering all the many new features I feel like that's a steal. I really appreciate you taking your time opening all this up. So much fun! BTW, those volume buttons always work so that upper button for volume up, lower button for volume down WHICHEVER side they're on!

I always find videos like this so entertaining, I don’t know why but I feel like they are so cool and I probably watch them all the time because I am getting one for Christmas. I am so in love with this colour and I am definitely gonna get mine in the colour because it matches my purple iPhone 11 and it is so cute. ❤️❤️

For those of you who are thinking about the mini in relation to not only the other iPads but to the iPhone Pro Max’s, I just got it rn and here’s my intitial reaction. It is TINY!! Compared to the air and pro (11”) it is stupidly tiny. Even tho it is bigger than my 13 pro max, in comparison to the other iPads it is tiny. I don’t know why but I don’t remember the og mini I had being this small. If you’re looking for something like an e reader, a SMALL notepad for either making quick notes or doodles, watching media on decently compact screen, I’d say go with it. If you’re a professional, pro/ hobby artist (that feels that it’s too small) and or a student maybe look at the air, 9th Gen iPad, current or last years pros. A plus is that it’s very handy and can really be taken anywhere.

I have had the iPad mini before and loved it. It just got out dated and wouldn't do what I wanted to anymore. I have ordered the new mini and waiting for it to arrive. I also have the 2018 Pro 12.9 and it is just so big. K - have you had a chance to load your digital planner on it? That is what I am worried about. I am loving creating them on my pro but scared it isn't going to so well on the mini.

You're totally going to be pumped then :) I have tons of a videos planned, specifically about digital planning on the Mini and 9th gen! But yes, I've loaded my digital planners on it and they work/look/perform the same. Of course the screen is smaller, but it's nice to actually "pocket" my digital planner on my iPad now. Still fun and great to write on and use stickers in too!

I have the iPad mini and iPad Pro, so I have a pencil for each. It’s easier to have the respective pencil with each iPad than searching for the one.

I’m conflicted on whether I should get the iPad Air 4 or this iPad mini, cause I’m heading back to in person classes in the spring. I do have a MacBook but I would also like to have something portable and the iPad mini seems like it’s a perfect size for when I’m moving around but I’m afraid that it would be to small for my note taking. I currently use the iPad 6th gen and I wonder if the mini would be to small of a size for my notes.

I've been using the iPad Mini for note-taking and found it perfect, but you might like the iPad Air 4 size a lot better. Totally possible to take notes on the iPad Mini though :) I'll have a video coming out every day this month (I hope) that covers all the features and uses of both the iPad Mini and iPad 9th gen!

@@hanyyusof653 I think she means that, you should consider if 8‘3 zoll is enough for your use case, since you are a student, you should consider if you need the ipad just for writing notes or if you might want to use a keyboard with it and if do you want to use an extarnal or a keyboardcase, also you should consider if you need more writing space, if your ipad should be really transportabally than you should go for the mini (I‘m sorry for any Grammar mistakes, I am still in the progress of learning English especially grammar😅)

I preordered the smaller gb one but is it sufficient enough for some illustrator work? I got the pink one and smaller gb one cause that’s what I can only afford🥺

I mean, you would probably need to get apple pencil as you want to do illustrate on it, but I think 64 gb is enough for a few apps, pictures and files. you would also need to get screen protector and case because so it does not break

On-screen keyboard? Nah, didn't feel it was too small to type on (which is surprisingly to me since I'm used to the on-screen keyboard of the 12.9 Pro). I do miss the tab key and function row, which is visible with the 12.9 Pro model!

If you have Apple Pencil (2) to your iPad Pro M1, it wouldn’t work with your new iPad mini? I just wonder if you’re buying again because it wouldn’t work or because that is more convenient / etc ?
