For those who's iPad didn't magically fix themselves even after re-pairing PPro or jumping through other hoops, the only thing that's worked for me so far is to go into the iPad's settings app, scroll down to Procreate and then turn on Tap Assistance. Hoping their major forthcoming update will resolve this issue and add the new features we're waiting for.
@@TheAverageTechGuy No problem and thanks for the pin. I even had Apple replace my iPad which didn't work. Then I tried resetting it without backup restore, and that didn't work either! There's something wrong going on with these new iPads and the pencil because the problem also exists with Adobe Fresco/Photoshop and there's no similar settings option to turn on so they're still busted.
i just got the iPad as they updated Dreams, both apps have massive wait time, stroke shrinks while I'm drawing, and it locks in on a point on the screen and no matter where I move the pencil it keeps the stroke connected to that one point like a fishing line. I know zoom can sometimes interfear but they fixed procreate to work with zoom before. Dreams has conflicting gestures so I keep zoom off for that but I am a zoom user and it was actively fixed in the past so I really don't think that's the issue. They were really great when I reached out but hopefully this gets sorted soon
Some people are saying Art Studio Pro is a good alternative to Procreate. It has already added the Apple Pencil Pro’s new features. I won’t have new Pencil. App still looks good for drawing but i don’t yet know if it has anything like page assist or animation assist, maybe just paint and draw.
Does anybody have the issue of rotating to change size or opacity not working? I have tried it all, but it still doesn't work. It only does with the Apple Pencil (Pro) tip touching the screen, but it is completely useless that way. Thanks!
