i used the force restart meathod and it worked to shut it off ands stop flashing, but now i cant even turn it on like normal. What do i do?

This happens because your storage is full and when you try to reset your iPad, your iPad can’t load. This has happen many times and luckily I have somebody to help me. It deals with the update on iTunes if anyone’s wondering. It clears all my data, though using my device is better than being stuck with nothing.

Thank you so much for giving me a clear answer on why this is happening This problem has happened SO MANY times on my very old iPad and it’s been frustrating to have to keep restarting it and losing a lot of memories due to me not being able to back it all up cuz of low storage. Do you have any tips on what I can do to prevent it from happening again? But still be able to use it?

@bubblemilk The best way would be to preserve storage. If you have many photo's or videos, try to delete some of prevent this sort of glitch from happening again. You'll always be able to use your device if you do the update on itune as shown in the video, or carry it out to some local repair shop using google maps. Oh, and try not to constantly restart your device more than 5 times a day, or your data will be mixed with other past ipad's data. When you restart your ipad or any mobile devices, it creates a new and fresh backup, so restarting it countless times might mix the backups which can lead to you seeing glitched apps.

Not one method worked for my mom's ipad and I think the reiboot method should have been explained that it only does it once for free and if it don't work your still stuck or you have to pay to retry the method

I did both a Standard Repair and a Deep Repair on my iPad 10.5, and it's still restarting every few minutes. I'm going to try a Deep Repair again. I hope it works because I paid the full price for this software. If it doesn't work, I'm out $40, and my iPad is still broken. 😞

When I tried method 2 my MacBook still did not detect iPad . I had to watch a different video once you are connected to MacBook and did the reset and It still doesn’t detect iPad . Just hold down the home button until the MacBook detects iPad .

I tried everything in the instructions for Reiboot software to repair my iPad and nothing worked. My iPad crashed while playing a game and then an ad popped up, then it crashed and got stuck in a boot loop. While running the software ( Reiboot), every time it went into repair mode, my iPad disconnected after the repair hit 10% and went back into the boot loop. The iPad went into the boot loop every time the software started to repair the device. I ran both standard and deep repair modes. I turned off my firewall. Nothing worked.

iTunes will only install on macOS 10.13.9 or earlier. Therefore, it is not an option. The video should say that.

All useless suggestions. My iPad only flashes the logo when i plug into fast charger. On plugging into computer there is not even a logo. As soon as i disconnect it the iPad is off. Nobody that i have seen has given any real solution.

@Phil Creg No i didn't. I was going to replace the battery but it looks like someone already tried that because the battery was not stuck properly. I am at a loss. But i bought two other ipads since then, one brand new, so this will just sit now. The screen is usable and i might use it for parts.
