I updated the IPAdapter extension for ComfyUI. It's a complete code rewrite so unfortunately the old workflows are not compatible anymore and need to be rebuilt. Sorry about that but I don't have time to maintain old code.

My thought process: Soon as I performed the update and my old workflows broke I was frustrated for about two minutes, then realized the nodes must be updated, and in that case it must be a pretty big update if they've been reworked, I loaded the new ones and saw new inputs I didn't entirely understand yet, decided to get some rest and look forward to the excellent new video that was sure to be coming (faster than expected!). You did not disappoint sir, thanks for all the outstanding work you are doing for the community!

Lucky you lol. My thought process: Hmm whats changed? Lets update ComfyUI, Lets Update All, Lets do a reboot (lol), Lets reinstall IPAdapter, Lets install a portable version of comfy to see if it works ok there, lets go ask in random discords to see if anyone else has the issue....and then, I find out the news lol. Frustrating that I had to spend all that time this morning but as Mateo says, it can't be helped. As I have paid a grand total of Zero so far on any generative ai tools, I won't bother asking to speak to the manager lol. It happens.

This update is super rad! It’s not just about automating a bunch of processes, but it’s also packed with loads of new features, opening up a world of possibilities. There's certainly a lot of new information to take in, but it's certainly worth it. This is a big improvement over the old version. I think I will mostly be using the tiled version, as I rarely work with perfectly square images anyways.

PSA: If you did not rename the clip vision model files to their names as shown in the git repo, the plug-in will complain that it can't find them.

I spent some time debuggin why the simple loader does not work. It was about the name of the clip vision model.

@@latentvision Wow, thanks for the quick reply. So I guess since embeds_scaling is a different input parameter, we could experiment with all combinations of weight types and embed scalings. That's so much more control.

Hi Matteo, thanks a lot for your hard work and taking the time to explain everything. For me it works like a charm. Lets say, i my aim is to create consistent characters in comfui, but change the clothes/context per image. Do you think this is doable with ipadapter? Based on the current set up, i seem to be getting beautiful output, but with too much differences to call it the same 'character'. Any advice would be great, thanks!

Thank you for putting out these videos, i absolutely love them. I've learned so much from you and others that i could not possibly thank you enough. My comfyui seems to be hanging up on the ipadapter unified loader node. Everything i try does not seem to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
