I want to make clear of something that clearly many people took it in the wrong way OR did not listen to the full explanation - my say "I don't care about skin tones" is just like you heard it, I don't look at the skin color of the person that is standing in front of me, (especially in real life) so I don't make a big deal out of the skin tones update, I am very happy for those who wished for it for so long time, but I don't look at this as an imported update AS A BUILDER... and that's what I meant, also, I play with ALL type, size, colors of sims and you can see that in my cinematics, and I DONT CARE if he (the sim) is more brownish or more yellowish or totally white like a paper... and yes I am white in real life , and I also didn't have the exact tone for my skin in-game before the update, yet, it was NOT that big of a deal for me. so that was the meaning of my say "I don't care of skin tones update", don't take it to bad places if anyone was offended I do apologize but that was not my intentions, now have an AWESOME 2021 - RG😍

The cool thing is when I do run a store, I like to live there too so I don't have to travel so this build has room for an apartment next door which is pretty awesome.

I do the same thing. I add debugged building into my lots to add more realism and to make my worlds look pretty from the map view. My oasis springs looks soo good Bc of this lol

Wow I was building a phone electronic store using tool in my mall yesterday and used the same menu stand to angle my tablets then watched this and saw u did it first 😆 but this was great inspiration

So many thoughts on this one! First of all, iPeach? I'm afraid I cannot relate. My phone is a humanoid automaton. 😜 Second, impeccable attention to detail as always! Something I don't think you mentioned, but if anyone wants to play this as the store owner, that shell building to the left could be converted into living quarters! And finally, the new expansion pack! I am cautiously optimistic. It looks magnificent. I just have my fingers crossed and I am hoping it lives up to the hype. This year could use some good news!!

I really appreciate you doing this build. I have a sim that owns an Apple Store but there is so much CC that I used in creating that build to replicate the real life store. I have been trying to get away from using build/buy CC in my game. I’ve been procrastinating with redoing my Apple Store to be CC free. This build is perfect and what I’m going to use to replace that lot in my game!!! Thank you!!!

This build is nice! You’re right about a lot of the community just wanting to hate on things... sometimes it’s due but other times people just want to hype each other up. Anyway when you says that “you don’t care about the skin tones” it comes of as a bit insensitive. To explain... no I’m not calling you racists or a bad person or anything. It just came across that way. When you say “I think it’s fine and it doesn’t effect me” that would make sense if you don’t play with black skin tones. However as a person who does want to play with black skin tones or who may want to do it often it is a problem. When I first got the sims 4 I attempted to make a black sim and I reverted my decision quickly because the sim did not look good... it was the skin.. it was not pleasing to look at and so now I can only play with black sims if I have a bunch of mods installed... which is frustrating. Lets say I want to ignore how the skin isn’t as pleasing to look at... well still none of the makeup available looks good or can even been seen on my black sim. So you can see that it is a huge problem. It just came across as you not caring just because it doesn’t affect you and that hurts me a little.

So i do apologize about that, there was no intention to hurt you or anyone else, and i explained that even (and i was not even maintaining colors btw) , and well ,i play the game, and i play with all colors, one of my recent builds was a basketball arena, and i played it with 10 sims, and like 7 of them were black skin tons , and i LOVED them! i really loved how they came out , and i don't see any reason why to improve them, and that's what i meant over here, my "I Don't Care" phrase was just like some people will say "I Don't care" about Cars/ Farm animals / babies update, i was referring to the update itself this is a game after all , the updates are affecting the gameplay at the end , and skin tons are effecting the CAS niche in the game, something that for me as a builder is less important, the black skin tons there are in the game right not are more the enough for me in MY opinion, and just to be clear i said that "I don't care of the skin tons (All skin tons) *look more realistic* cos the game graphic does not look realistic but I do know that a lot of people want the skin tons update and that's fine" And at the end, have an awesome day 😊

And to be clear I don't think the simsgouru ever make black skin tone or make up not really fine on purpose. You call them racist but this is just a bad design, to be clear all the skin tones white black yellow are not perfect some of them are too clear or orange sometimes but they haven't any attention to hurt someone sensibilities. So I think call them racist is a little bit too strong. Anyway I have made a tones of black characters who looks stunning in my opinion without skin tones cc so you can also understand that some people use the black skin tone who is already in the game and never feel offended because they make great sims with it. Anyway i'm for the new updates because who will say no to free new stuffs and more possibilities but I think you have put this too far by accusing the game to be racist. Bye and have a nice day.

True but you imply the game is racist when you say « I’m not calling you racist or a bad personn » because that imply that if you think that way, supporting the game how he is nowaday and don’t feel offended about the color of the black skintone you can be seen as a racist person. Because you felt that you needed to make the precision. Maybe I have seen to much where there are nothing but I have felt the thing like that. Anyway sorry if I have missunderstood your sentence. First, this build is absolutely wonderful and creative and my sims are gonna love it...... Now, I think the snowboarding, skiing, and sledding should have been part of season cause its something that you do in the winter. However I also think that they could have implemented Resorts in this pack too but thats a whole other topic. And I want my Farm now, but I guess I gotta wait until next year.

First thanks 😊 but here is an interesting question for ya.. if seasons would have had all those stuff in it , i believe the price on it could not be like only 40$ (it's too much content for only 40$) , would have you bought the season pack at a price tag of 60$ in that case? i have a hard time to believe people would have bought it in that price tag even with those stuff in it 🤔

@@RGeetect I dont think the price would have change cause the only thing we got was the skating rink, I think they could have at least implemented the sled in the season pack. Also I understand the big selling point of this pack is for the skiing and mountain climbing experience which I also would think would sell also.

Hey ^^ i explained it why not in previous videos you miss i guess ... i said that this channel is never meant to be a stop motion channel, and my main goal is to show how i do stuff, how I create them 🙂 when watching stop motion build you can only guess what item i used or where you can find it.. and i want people to be able to stop the video see the item and from what pack it is 😊

Well the upgraded skin tones are for people who actually HAVE skin tones. The only thing I want is for them to bring cars back. Cars you can drive and get in and out of. Love your builds and I'm a new Subscriber! 😊

What if I say I don’t care about cars it’s unfair to say you don’t care about skin tones. Sigh I mean I agree I think snowy escape is exciting. But everyone’s points are valid. It is just a game so like come on but the black skin tones are very uhm...... grey. Almost like sick looking. I want to make Sims that are black but it makes it look like I’m playing with aliens lol. I’m not so hurt about it cause mods are great. But I wouldn’t dismiss the concerns of others. Need more coffee like skin lol. But I get it.

Wow, I gave him a like until he dismissed the need for better skintones so simmers feel they can make themselves and their family members in the game. You don't have to see yourself in the game, but understand how it might make the other millions of players feel that they don't have that option. Anyway, this is a nice build.

if you are interested in themed and story based gameplay and enjoy building realistic old fashioned stuff/some wacky stuff then Stangerville would be better. Vampires has a lot of spookier items and has level based gameplay which i find more rewarding and if you are interested in victorian style building it is good. i definitely use items from vampire more personally but if you are interested in cas assets neither pack is particularly great unless you like country style or gothic a lot. Strangerville has more which is usual lot later sims packs so it really comes down to what you value most as a player. (tbh the best game packs imo are parenthood, dine out, and outdoor retreat).

Hmm interesting comparison, well in my opinion , if you are more into building , strangerville will be better choice, the items over there are more suitable for "every day build" the map is like "old town road" or "road 66" kinda vibe and the DEBUG items are amazing! if you more into dark/gothic/spooky vampiric vibe building , then go with vampires and ofc you gonna get vampires in the game ( more sim types) but then again , i would go with strangerville 😊

@@HeatherMantica Thank you! I already own the other ones you mentioned. Of game packs the ones I dont have are Strangerville and Vampires (and Star Wars, but we dont speak of it, lol). I dont really enjoy story based gameplay, but Im not that into vampires either. It seems from a builders perspective Strangerville is better, and it has two careers, so thats something. This is hard!

@@RGeetect Yes, from what Ive seen of build/buy, strangerville seems more like my style. I love debug, and building "ordinary" houses, so for that purpose, strangerville seems better. I dont usually build goth stuff, its more Scandinavian style or farm stuff etc :) The world looks great!
