Thanks! I couldn’t get the touch screen to work at first but after disconnecting the battery and disconnecting and reattaching the screen sensor it worked! I thought Apple had made it impossible but it wasn’t.

Nooo they don’t use lcds it doesn’t work on iPhone X and up

You definitely can use aftermarket lcds the quality won’t be as good but the screen will work

@@lorrainelovee3941 Also, buy a better/bigger suction cup when you decide to do this, the kit one isn't strong enough, unless, like me you have a very cracked screen, then just try to push the "guitar pick" where the crack is cuz this way you don't need the suction cup at all.

I have a broken one (it works but cracked and when it's turned on, display has black marks on some of it), but it does let you use the phone. Where are you based? Can have it for free just cost of postage.

Sounds like you've damaged the screen in the process maybe? or a faulty connector cable/socket on the board.

You do not need to warm the proximity sensor as shown in the video. Doing so will damage the proximity sensor!

Guys it so cheap if you just have a professional do it if you have insurance I just got my horrible cracked screen fixed for $29 it go ran over by a car and $29 and it’s perfect
