@@alivingbeing5551 well sony is doing great this year, thyre expecting to make their first profit year in last 4 full years, I just hope sony can come back in India after that
LG better camera you didn't even touch on Manual Mode, better battery life (when disconnected from second screen) , better audio, better price, better multitasking, stop me I'll keep going. 😂 iPhone better emojis, better messaging, better Snapchat, better EcOsYsTeM 😂
@@THEE.apples In this video the g8x performed the worst. Not surprising since it has the worst camera optics of the two. 1/2.55" sensor at 1.8 aperture, lmao. 1.8 would work if the sensor was larger. The iPhone have much larger sensors.
@@RedskullPro can we exchange places for summer ?? you can come over here in India and soak up the sun, get some tan, I will enjoy the pleasant weather in ON.
1:18 "A matter of personal preference"?!? Maybe, if the choices are: "Would you rather have an orange child or a skin-colored one?" 'Cause I bet my money that your daughter is not this color presented by the iPhone 11 picture! Those pictures are clearly too warm...
I love your comparison pictures! Straight to the point with a LOT of examples and even adding your thoughts after explaining what each camera's done for the images. Keep up the great work!
I have the LG G8X and my 4k video doesn't look like that. Also, the night mode is worse than using the ai for night time photos. Take photos using primarily the AI and you'll see a difference
I like this comparison, I think I'm preferring the LG, but both are pretty great cameras. One of the things I like about LG phones is manual mode on photo and video. And I The Weekly Hero like the graphy feature. Thanks!
@@RedskullPro $225 second hand on ebay right now. going to get it most likely and install Gcam for better pictures. I particularly find these ones horrible on lg 1:19 - 1:40. The pics of humans look lifeless compared to iphone. Thank you for the comparison, take care
The G8X looks better for everything except portrait shots in my opinion. The only selling point for the iPhone is the video quality. Apple is way ahead in terms of video resolution, stabilization, and colors. And that's coming from a strict Android user
There goes the LG crazy hyper color blue sky in 4k videos. I do agree the iphone 11 ultra wide camera on the whole 11 range aren't good for low light at all. Oh, and as much as the iphone selfie camera has been improved it's still bad in low light.
Nord or LG Both are best Nord has 5G which is so useful in future for not to upgrade & 90HZ refresh rate In other aspects lg has it unique features and it is a flagshig mobile Poco x3 is nice mobile but can't compare it with above mobiles
The snow in the iPhone looks to have a bluish tint and the G8X camera shows the snow to be completely white. I say the G8X has a better camera at times, whereas the iPhone has slightly better colour
looks like g8x is more exposed and overall has a cooler tone with a cyan tint and looks a little more sharper. feels less pleasant than the iphone11. I prefer the iphone 11 camera by the looks of it but obviously at the price the g8x is, one cant complain too mch
Great work thanks for the review. Can you please mention the Android OS version the LG's had when you did the comparison, as it may have received some optimization since this time (I'm asking cause I'm about to buy a G8X these days). Good luck for your channel. Many thanks.
Damn that turquoise sky on the LG G8X video is a bit off to say the least! Also has that weird stepping effect seen on Huawei phones when planning slowly. Still not bad at all but the iPhone has better overall image quality. Photos were closer than I expected to be honest, as you said it's literally a matter of preference rathe than an outright win from either. Good job fella! 👍
I can see Very good selfies from LG G8X in your video..It looks like it is having autofocus.. Indian sale version is fixed with fixed ( infinity ) focus front camera, terrible focusing, one has to stretch his arms as far as possible...Can you please confirm that your g8x takes autofocus selfies??
@@sanchitraut5690 oh no I'm asking were you recording with those settings on? LG tends to warp the colors a bit with HDR10 on. I always turn it off before I shoot a video.
@@RedskullPro probably best deal ever on a smartphone like this . only thing that sucks is it's battery and software update. Also the software is nowhere close to as fast as Apple's IOS
cool video - covered major parts about the camera comparison- LG all the way - ordered today for $250 in the Big Billion Sale from Flipkart in India - getting it on Sunday, excited. liked and subbd
My G8x selfie camera shows everything that is closer than 70-80cm (~2.6 ft) very out of focus and blurry, thus making selfies impossible. Is this normal? Did anyone also had this problem?
Why do reviewers keep saying "iPhone colors is more realistic" when it's very obvious that it's not. It's like a routine now for reviewers, they say it because it's an iPhone not because of the result it produces.
Thank you for this video. Since October first week watched this 2/3 times. Wanted to buy a mobile and had a very small list of mobiles as budget was small. Came to know about the festival offer in Flipkart hence searched saw and got your youtube..tempted me .. And that worked was lucky to get one in the sale posting a response from LG G8x Thinq. Few channels who are sponsored by others Mobiles did make video comparing LG G8x and proving that LG G8 is not good .. 😄 .. Was able to laugh them off. Thanks for tempting me .. Which rarely happen .. .. Now will have to learn more on photography to make justice to the mobile.
Iphone colors are on the Warm side By Far and at time 2:30 You can Clearly see how the Iphone washes out details and colors since many of those red pine cones don't stand out. Many of these pictures tho are off in comparison due to angles and lighting. Even the smallest degree off from one phone over another will produce a good or bad picture. It's more about the user than it is the camera.
I came here because I got my LG g8x yesterday (brand new from Best Buy) and I am loving it all except the selfie camera is terribly blurry and will not focus! I am thinking it is a fluke with my phone because your selfies look nice and clear on here...?
triple or quadruple the . jpg size and then compare deals after crop. ALSO , your audience photo color preferences are going to vary dramatically based on the default screen profiles of each device. . Samsung has pretty much mastered the pixel shadow details & contrast optimization ... in my humble opinion.
