You dislike my v*deos? Are you just a h8er boi? I say see you l8er boi. Don't watch my stuff anymore. Your dislikes are damaging my good reputation. I am a superstar, dear joy
I've been using the first Gen SE since it launched. And I have absolutely loved its form factor. I held onto it for so long hoping Apple would one day would once again release a small (Regular sized) phone. I was first in line and got it launch day, I absolutely love using it, what a great phone.
7:34, it isn't a "really weird edge case", it is called thermal throttling, something that small computers like phones and thin and lights love doing. In this case, it means that the smaller phone has less heat dissipation (as seen using the thermal camera) and throttles down faster than the max, but eventually, they both will.
The 12 mini is awesome, I was a android user for over a decade and finally made the switch for my first apple product ever. No regrets. Big phones suck, especially since this little thing does everything I want.
Austin: "will you want it? probably not." Literally everyone complains about how big new phones are and want something that can ACTUALLY fits in their pocket
I’m going from a XS Max to the iPhone 12 mini. I love my max but it’s just too big for my pockets and I own a iPad so the mini just makes more sense for me personally
I love that there is a mini device with full feature set. Even though I’m a Samsung all the way I wish all manufacturers would do a no compromise mini device
3:33 is the BEST part of this video & expresses my feelings exactly "With that being said, I don't care. That's the whole end of my point. I don't care. You might care, but for me, I'm totally happy watching on a smaller screen *laughs*"
Who actually needs a car when you can have a horse? The thing is, technology moves forwards and if you don’t go forwards you go back. Just cause you don’t want 5g isn’t gonna stop the whole world.
2019: Pixel 4 small flagship with 90hz display and 2800mah battery "Absolutely horrible for this year's standards" 2020: iPhone 12 Mini with 60hz display and 2200mah battery "Absolutely AMAZING, nothing touches the best compact phone"
Currently watching on my iPhone mini with my 11 pro max sitting on my nightstand right next to me. The screen doesn’t bother me at all. Loving the mini over the big phones
If iPhone 12 mini sells really well (which I'm sure it will), other phone companies would look into making compact phones, and I'm really looking forward to it.
Contemplated waiting for the 12 mini, but upon playing with the cases available at Best Buy (cases available before the phone?) decided to go with the regular 12. Perfectly happy with it, glad Apple went back to a more 4, 4S, 5, 5s squared off phone.
This is exactly what I'm doing! I'm not fussed about the battery life because my iPhone 7 battery health has become really bad over time which has now started to majorly affect the performance! I'm not really a big gamer and don't spend too much time watching videos on my iPhone as I have a 55" 4K HDR TV & powerful home cinema system for that
@@modasij In August I got my battery replaced since it was 65% capacity. Has made a gargantuan difference. I use my iPhone for video streaming on cellular because our internet is too crappy for video streaming.
Had my mini for 10 days returned it. Battery life and small screen is a no go for me. I don't have a tablet and 95% of the time I'm browsing/media consumption on my phone even when I'm at home. I need a bigger screen. Got me the Pro max. Im coming from a Galaxy note 10 plus. Size wise, I have no problem with the Pro Max..went to apple store and tried it for several hours and liking it. Don't really know why people are saying its too big .
Man the iPhone 12 mini fit really well in my hand. I liked it a lot. I like the feel of the iPhone 12 Pro better but the 12 mini felt great. I’d definitely use it if I had to
I own an iPad Mini 5, so having the iPhone 12 Mini works perfectly for everyday phone and light to moderate media consumption use. Having briefly owned the iPhone SE 2 and barely getting through the day on a charge with it; coupled with Apple touting the 12 Mini as having two more hours of battery life, I can confidently say this phone will last me through the day with a more comfortable margin of battery life left.
I switched from an 11 pro max to the mini because I want to go back to a small phone. I miss my iPhone 5s. I think this phone's design and size will bring a lot of Nostalgia.
biased af haha unsubscribing he even talks about the battery life for 1min because we all know that it is worst 2 to 3 hrs screen on time lmao ps. hate this kind of tech reviewers
the old saying "bigger isn't always better" is a very true statement if you can get flagship performance in a small form factor seems like a better option day to day.
You can get a Sirui lens kit and a Moment Case to significantly outperform the Pro Max' telephoto and ultrawide for about $100-150,- And if you're really a stickler for quality, just get a DxO One, which still outperforms the best smartphone camera's in an accessory that's roughly the same size as an AirPods case.
*Runs 1 stress test* “It’s prob an anomaly you might wanna run another one” *Doesn’t run another stress test; assumes the performance difference is an anomaly*
my 7 died after 4 years and my iphone 12 mini (black) comes on Tuesday so i'm watching this to get excited about it...i really doubt that a lot of people would use a telephoto.. no one uses a phone for telephoto for telephoto you buy a dslr.
well dark mode/darker content on the iPhone 12 mini does make a significant difference on the case of sot , also he can turn on battery saver and still get adequate performance out of the mini
The pathetic battery life is a deal-breaker IMO. As for "nothing touches the mini"... the Pixel 5 says hello (real world performance not benchmarks...).
I've seen the 12 and the mini side by side and I went with the 12. But I got to say, it really depends what kind of person you are. On the go, I'd rather use the mini. But I spend too much time on my phone, going through reddit, reading articles or just on youtube and I'm not talking about being on the go very often. I had an iphone 7 before and the bigger screen feels premium to me. It's a bit big in your hands and I don't really have small hands, but typing with two thumbs feels better on the 12 compared to the mini. If you're not addicted to your phone, the mini is probably the way to go.
Weird how Apple marketed the original iPhone as small enough to fit into a pocket only for them to progressively make it bigger and then market the iPhone 12 Mini as small enough to fit into a pocket.
They should have made the 12 mini about a millimeter thicker and fill it up with more battery thereby boosting its battery life. That small form factor could easily afford to get thicker. Then it would have been the perfect compact flagship.
2 weeks with the mini and people who’ve been using larger displays for years are gonna say “....ehhh, m-maybe i should’ve gotten the regular 12” however, it’s a different story for those who’ve been using things like the 4, 5 and s.e (2015)
