Big tip is to keep the exposure between opening and closing the camera app. Keep it at -.3 or -.5 and bring it up in post. Colors will appear naturally more saturated and it saves your highlights without looking like you set a highlights slider to -100.
I'm impressed that he'll respond to questions. So many of these RU-vidrs will ask for your support. That's great but then I see question after question and no response. That's a compliment to you. Thanx keep up the good work Allan
Scene detection turned off for low light long exposure (astrophotography), is crucial; further, you have up to a 20 second handheld exposure; but if you mount your iPhone 12 Pro Max to a tripod or lean it against a stable object, you will get a 30 second exposure. This is significant if you are familiar with astrophotography.
Finally someone who really gives tips of importance! I am having issues with the different lighting feature. It worked when I first purchased my phone but it doesn’t seem to work now. Any suggestions?
Omg been looking for your video thank God I found you. I watched your video before and I followed up everything u said in the video my camera was better and later I reset my setting. Couldn’t find your video. Thanks for the video it really help me a lot😊
One thing maybe you didnt know but for burst shots all you have to do is simply press and hold the shuttter button and then swipe left and it will take burst shots :)
1st time watching your video and it’s super helpful! I just got my 12 Pro last month and one big thing that I noticed is that when you take a selfie in a dark room (with low light), then the picture turned quite shitty and my 6s+ could do a whole lot better :’) Up until now, I have nooo idea how to fix it.
Stands for High Dynamic range. Multiple exposures are taken in a fraction of a second and composited together with the best exposed parts of each image. You'll only see the final combined photo.
I learned a couple of things as you went into the settings and showed a few tricks like burst shots quality fix. And her setting fix. I love the quality of my I phone 12pro as I had it for 2 days. I put a sample video together and will put a review up on youtube soon. Thanks for your in-depth review. Useful
I know this is old but I have a question. I don't understand why you don't like Live Photos? It takes the same photo than normal but only difference is you get sound a small video clip either side. It's so amazing to take photos of my dog and hear here breathing. Or take a photo of my neices and can hear them giggling away.
With auto FPS I thought it’s stuttering that is more an issue. As turning it off reduces noise appearance sure, but because it’s reducing the amount of light captured per frame = darker video
Yep you’re correct about this however since the majority of people are not panning like crazy when shooting video at night and generally speaking it’s more of a static shot the lower shutter speed should be okay for 95% of scenarios.
Hi Can you pause while shooting a video instead of taking different videos? I have a Galaxy note and what I love is that It has the pause button so I skip editing . Have been thinking to try an IPhone but can't find out. Thanks for all your info!😁
Yep, but it’s easier for me at least to remember to hold down the volume up button since swiping the wrong way locks video recording. Not to mention you’re talking about 1 action vs 2 actions and reducing the amount of steps could ensure whether you get the photo you want or not.
I liked your video. I have a question that is not answered in the video. My problem is that when I use the front camera, I get reverse letters screen. Other words: Antacid is 'dicatna.'
I’m not gonna lie but I got pissed off 17 seconds in to the video cause I have my earphones on and that sound that played made me flinch thinking it was a damn fly or something. 😂
Thanks for watching my videos ❤️❤️ congratulation you have been selected amongst the shortlisted winners✅✅✅........ a direct mesage..via telegram👆...........
you can even capture a photo burst by pressing and holding shutter button and then swiping(dragging) to the left just like you do it on the right side to lock the video shooting
Thanks for this video. I only have iPhone X now but I will upgrade this fall. I usually like taking HDR photos so I wanted to find out if that feature is still available on iPhone 12 and hopefully 13. You explained the working of the iPhone 12 very well. From what I’ve heard iPhone 13 pro or pro Max is still only going to have 2.5 x telephoto which is quite pathetic compared to the Samsung s20. Do you have any idea why iPhone does not plan to improve the telephoto capabilities?
ALWAYS rotate LEFT your phone when going from PORTRAIT to LANDSCAPE. You remind me of my grandma when you rotated to the right. Fun video chats with her upside down.
Jonathan, brother, I used my 12 Pro Max last night to record Instagram Stories with the front camera. Inside a well lit room, with solid white wall/closet behind me, phone was vertical and mounted on a tripod. Throughout the whole video, you can see how the color of the background (wall/closet) changes from “white to yellowish” back and forth, repeatedly. Why is that happening? Does it mean that there’s a hardware or software problem with my phone? Thank you Jon or anyone who knows about these topics.
Hi Jonathan. I do iridology and really need good photos of the subjects eyes 👀 (eyes only.) I’ve not been very successful so far, when I zoom in on the photo it’s to blurry to make out the structure of the eye. I have an iPhone 12 pro. I’d appreciate any tips thank you 🙏🏻
Very helpful. I was stressing, thinking the burst mode wasn't available on the 12pro. So a search for that led me to your video that proved quite helpful. Thanks.
The cover page of a book written in English showing the flip view and not the original. How Could we get rid of this? Mirror front camera doesn’t able to do it? or any other tricks. Please reply.
I don't know why but i just got the iPhone 12 Pro Max (Today) and it seems there is a beauty filter on the camera. idk what it is or how to take it off. I have my iPhone X still which doesn't have the feature and I really prefer it without. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you hold the camera button while taking a photo and drag it left it makes it burst Photos there’s no need to use the up volume button just a heads up
