I just ordered the kit on Amazon for $13. Verizon was charging me $249 to replace the phone when is only the glass. I will go with this option first. Thanks for the video

I work for Verizon I’ll say apple won’t even repair and upcharge as well. Nobody replaces camera lens for these things so replacing it would be the only option.

Which lens covers are interchangeable in the 12 series?

@@phonerepairguy. 'Interchangeable' and 'changeable' have different objectives. Restated, will any of the replacement lens covers fit 'Interchangeably' between the 12 series models and if yes, which ones?

All iPhone 12 series have their own dimension lens. We do not recommend using the same lens even if it fits but get the correct size that belongs. Your retailer should let you know the correct dimensions for each iPhone

The rubberized seal we installed to bond the new lens says it’s water resistant but we do not recommend it.

Try using the camera without the lens and see if it’s just needs to be cleaned or if the actual camera needs to be replaced. Hopefully it’s just dirty. Yes still waterproof if applied carefully and dont put it in water for 4-5 days then the glue will be fully solid

@@zachfranklin3059 Actually I did mine my self… ordered the camera lens kit from Amazon and followed the steps. Pretty easy job, just be careful not leaving any dust particles in between the camera lens.

Seems while he is fixing the camera lens he is also scratching up the front face of the phone with broken glass as he breaks off pieces and drops the glass pieces on the mat...Then slides the phone all over the glass. I would not trust him with my phone.

I can assure you that the front glass was not scratched. It’s funny because you would really need to press deep and hard and still would not scratch an iPhone 12 Pro Max screen. There are lots of RU-vid videos showing the durability of this screen. I would not be worried at all
