I think If they cared for the customer. They should have allowed the option for people to choose whether they require the charger or not with the purchase of the phone . I believe their position assuming everyone has chargers readily available is not thoughtful and or more arguably a business strategy to extort more from the consumer.

they're also trying to move toward a port less phone and you can still use your old usb type a charger and charging block you only need the usb type c for fast charging so if you want fast charging that badly just spend the 20 dollars I guarantee you that if you're even considering buying the 12 pro max that you can afford a 20 dollar charger

@@lucvance4862 looks like you haven't heard of OnePlus phones or xiaomi phones, it's a huge benefit being able to charge your phone by 60% in 30 minutes. It's not because "I use my phone too much" it's because sometimes I forget to charge my phone at night and being able to charge my phone from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes actually matters.

That's what Apple's sending unfortunately lol. All the review units seem to be gold. I have a feeling it's because with the regular 'pro' all the review units were in the Pacific Blue. So maybe Gold is the color they wanted to focus on, as silver and graphite are bland? lol

On the other side 6.7" phone is too big for me. I used Samsung s9+ since april 2018.

Can't wait for a camera and full and detailed comparison with the note 20 ultra ! I'm so hesitating between these two phones ! Wandering which one is the most satisfying for daily usages. If you do so, it would be interesting to cover some minor but daily used features like notifications display, secure folder, scrolling screenshots, battery life with a photography day, but also the global feeling using each of the phones. At that price we want the best of the best !

you can't really compare Note which has S pen and Iphone 12 that has basically same OS as Iphone6s. If you care about cameras, buy Iphone, if you care about resell prices, buy Iphone. Tough choice as both phones are...well next years models and last years were better

The back of the gold is basically a pale white. That’d be OK if that’s the design choice Apple made. 4:10 why they feel the need to fake the color in all of their promo photos, including on their website? They made it look really yellow, which does look nicer. Where is the “courage”, Apple?

You're right. All of the promo photos make the gold look way more yellow than it appears in all of the review videos I've seen. I will say, though, that I actually prefer the paler gold. But that's going to suck for people who want it to be a bright yellow gold.

Yes , in australia the base max model is $1849 , the mag safe is another 65 bucks , i dont see the charging brick , but no doubt here it will be another 30 ish bucks on top probably , so getting near the 2k mark for the base model , and not even a cheap set of buds in the box . Add to that , apple has been able to cut further costs putting in smaller batterys in the 12 variants compared to last years models . Apple = mean as shit .

Makes me laugh, every reviewer “not many people has usb c charger” look, if someone pays over £1100 on a phone and don’t have £20 for a charger, he shouldn’t get the phone in the first place. I’ve preordered the pro max and ordered 3 chargers immediately, 1 for my wife 1 for me and 1 to have at work. Peanuts compared with the price of the phone.

They say its to keep emissions down or whatever but like what about all the cheap chargers people buy that break and the apple ones that break and still end up in the trash if theyre gonna keep it out of the box cause "it saves the environment" they should buy out all the companies making bricks and cables and stop making them but they just don't give you one in the phone box so you need to buy 2 more boxes for a brick and headphones if you're coming from an older iPhone or any other brand so its hurting the environment more im going from a note 9 to iphone 12 pro max so I have 3 boxes to buy instead of the box that shpuldve come with it all hows that save the environment its just saving them money while making more

Yes very smart and thought out argument there. If I'm already paying a ridiculous amount on something I should just go out and buy some more stuff to be able to use it because the company want to shaft everyone. Why does every other phone on the planet come with a power adaptor? Even if it was for environmental reasons, (which its not, because if you look at what they're doing to the hardware to stop repairs being done) then surely they would'd reduce the price. Why should anyone spend £1100 on a phone and have the inconvenience of not being given an OEM power brick in the box, like it's just absurd. It's people like you that keep a company like Apple alive.

@@IntolerableEvil no, it’s not an argument, it’s a fact. They told you at the event straight in the face that it will not come with one, then you go home and review the iphone saying the same thing. Me as a customer, i decide to buy it fully informed that there isn’t one in a box, corect? That usb c charger can be used with other stuff as well, so it’s not like, omg i paid £1400 for the phone and don’t have money left for a charger which i can use to charge the phone or phones or electric cig or ipad etc.

I own the 12 Pro and the 'lower' volume rocker does not click normally like the 'higher' or Power button. Does anyone else have this issue?

@@estephaniagonzales9562 then I recommend you go for the 12 Pro Max. It's future proof. It has 5G, better modem and more RAM for same price. But look out for other reviews. It's brand new, so it may have some optimization issues.
