Upgrading to the 12 Pro Max from 7 Plus is seriously the best feeling ever! Legit zero regrets! I'm used to big phones, so the size wasn't an issue for me. And honestly (imo), it was surprising how the flat edges made the 12 Pro Max easier to hold
I’ve had my pro max for 2 weeks and although in some situations I feel it’s “too big” I know I would’ve regretted getting the smaller size no matter what lol. I love the 12 pro max!!!
same i’ve had my pro max since release day & i have no regrets, i’ve always liked the bigger phone & I always regretted getting the smaller version of the phone
yeah the 12 Pro Max's battery is crazy. i get a day and a half to two days out of it. now imagine if they put the 11 Pro Max's battery in it, probably two days no problem.
@@arlishunt6748 Mr.whosetheboss did a video on it. The Note 20 does beat it at 120hz. It actually got the most battery life on any phone on his channel
@@robertobarajas9539 1. Actually 11 pro max has a longer battery life 2. Note 20 ultra is not on 120hz all of the time (only in settings or home screen or sth) all apps don't support 120

After having the 12 Pro Max for 2 weeks now it's been a great experience. After having the 6s plus for so long it feels great to have better battery life and performance!

I love the size of the iPhone 12 Pro . I went from the iPhone 8 Plus so i really like being able to just put the phone in my pocket and I am able to hold it a lot easier than the 8 plus. Enjoyed your video. Thanks.
That’s exactly what happened to me. I was using the 12 pro for 2 weeks, then when the pro Max came out I bought it and I had to go back with the 12 pro due to the inconvenience using only one hand.
I love my 12 Pro. Beautiful pictures and high quality videos. I chose the Pro knowing it could be used one-handed and be pocketable. Maybe not the best value, but satisfied with my choice, knowing it will serve me well for years to come
@Ivan Last i went from 5se to 12 pro 2 days ago so personally i’m really satisfied overall!! and i just found out about that RAW option only available on pro i think the camera quality is even better with that, hope u can find one quick!
I just upgraded from an iPhone 6s Plus to the 12 Pro Max and absolutely love it!!! It’s mind boggling how good the photos/videos come out when shooting in low light.
@@HearMeLearn Oh wow. Thanks for the feedback! That makes my decision easier. I've replaced my 6S+ battery 3-4 times in the 5 years I've had it and reacharge it in at least once a day. Size is perfect for me so this sounds like a good upgrade.

My wife and I are in our 60's. As you get older you will come to appreciate bigger screens. We came from the XR and the XR is the same exact size as the 12 Pro so the 12 Pro Max was the perfect solution for us.
I have small hands and still love the pro max, I’ve always gotten the plus size iPhones so I guess I’m used to it. Only thing I really noticed is that the 12 pro max is much heavier than my XS Max was. I’m used to it now and eveything is fine. I can’t see myself going to a small screen.
i have an xs, i don't generally like large phones since i had a 6 as well but i'm thinking going for the max bc of the display. do you think it's a worthy upgrade from an xs?
you should've just kept the xs max for another year or two. Nothing wrong with it and it's a really big phone as well. Of course the 12 pro max is a better phone, but that doesn't mean the xs max wasn't good enough.

My wife wanted the 12 pro max Im The type that I like having the best of the best also, but I feel the same way it’s just not comfortable to hold very long or pack around in your pocket all day. I got the 12 pro and I love it!
Go to settings-reset-reset network settings should work If not Go to settings-reset-reset all settings Keep in mind if you do that you’ll have to enter passwords WiFi etc
I went from a 6S Plus to a 12 Pro Max. Definitely no regrets love the larger screen so much faster and amazing battery life plus the camera is just awesome.
Got the 12 Pro Max. Totally used to large phones. After almost two weeks, I barely notice the size or weight. As far as the feature set of the 12 Pro Max, better to have them and not need them as well as less chance of buyer's remorse.
I'm so glad I followed my mind. I went with the 12 Pro. My daughter got the 12 Pro Max Thursday and she's taking it back to Verizon. She said it's too much phone.
I'm doing the same thing. as much as i like the promax, it's just too big, and a bit heavy too, and if you got the case on, it makes it even worse, and i do like to use my phone with one hand. Gonna get pro, and to be fair i never had the plus versions, they always seemed a bit too big.
davpzdu I’m the type that likes big phones (I currently own the xR which is not too big or too small) but I’ve been feeling very nostalgic lately and want to use the old phones (like blackberry, Motorola) And so now I want to purchase the Samsung z flip (Bc it’s a flip phone and kinda reminds me of the flip phones from back then) but it’s just way too expensive
Coming from an iPhone 7 and upgrading to 12 pro after 4 years is crazy in every way especially the screen, preformance and battery life which basically are my only needs
I have an iPhone X (5.8in display) and when I held my friends iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7in display) that thing felt absolutely massive. I’m sure it wouldn’t be an issue with two handed use but trying to use it with one hand is too uncomfortable. I genuinely think a 6in display is the cut off for constant one handed use without it being uncomfortable or inefficient. On the other hand, the screen on the iPhone 12 Pro Max is just so awesome and I’ve heard great things about the battery life.

@@xyloidmedina6768 unlikely. With increase ram and the 5G signal. Provided u turn off most stuff setting like GPS and what not. Yes the new chip is smart enough to toggle but slightly power hunger too.
For a price difference of just $100, it makes sense to go for the Pro Max that packs a bigger screen and bigger battery. The primary reason to stick with the Pro would be size preference.

I felt the same way you did when I got my 12 Pro Max last month... but I’ve gotten used to the size since then. The main issue is the weight of the phone when I’m wearing anything without a belt. Though, I think the pros of the Max outweighs the cons.

The 12 pro max is an amazing phone. It’s going to be so good for a long time and you can’t beat a bigger screen these days especially since people are in the house all day. Honestly you get used to the size after a while. Of course if you have a bunch of smaller phones and you’re constantly switching then you’re going to over exaggerate the size.
Mistake: I bought the IP12 Pro Max without trying it in the hand first. Compared to my Samsung S20+ it has the same good immersive 6.7 in screen. The 2 problems are the bigger width and weight both of which make it uncomfortable to hold. At 228g it is 42g heavier or 22.5% heavier. Together not pleasant and will buy the Pro next time. Overall the S20+ is the much better experience of large screen without the width or weight issues.
I got the 6.1 regular 12 and I don’t think I’m missing anything. Until Apple has longer optical zoom like 4 or 5x the regular wide and ultra wide are more than enough.
@@shayansharif4766 yep everything is snappy and smooth like the pro models. Battery on the 12 has been very good while using 5g however I turned it off because the 5g in my area is actually the same speed and sometimes less and with it off I’m getting over 6.5 hours of screen on time
@@shayansharif4766 well in my opinion yes! Larger screen, OLED, and a way better battery. I’m sure Apple will give you at least 200 bucks in trade value.
I upgraded from my 6S Plus to the 12 Pro Max just a week or so ago. The overall size is almost identical, just with the waaay more screen on the 12, so I'm really loving it. One-handed use can be kind of hard, more so than the 6 because the screen stretches farther up, but it's not too bad for me. I can still swipe type okay with one hand. Also the battery life is insane, though I can only compare it to the 6 and not the other 12. I'm definitely gad I went with the Pro Max over the Pro.
I used to have the iPhone X and I finally upgraded to the 12 pro max silver and I have no regrets!! I absolutely love it, I went to go use my old phone (I gave it to my partner) and that’s when I realised how much bigger it really is... honestly made me love it more 😂 plus I can’t stop admiring the build quality 😍
I actually upgraded to 12 Pro from my iPhone XS Max because of changing my carrier and I am a little disappointed about the little screen loss difference from my old XS Max but it’s actually really good phone though and quite fits my hand and much easier to grip and does perfectly fine now. Most of all really loved the camera settings such as night mode and portrait mode and shooting 4K videos.
@@xyloidmedina6768 not if you sell the phone before the next one is announced. I usually sell my iPhone around August/September and get 90% of my money back. I use this to purchase the new phone. All-in-all I pay about $200 a year to have a new phone. That’s chump change on my salary.
Is a good thing I stood with plan and kept my 12 PRO.. the iPhone 12 PRO is the perfect model out of all 4 new iPhones.. perfect size and still get all the goodies..
Yeah girl I’m also totally blind and I love the screen bigger screen. I upgraded from my iPhone 8 to my 11 Pro Max in 2019. Yeah the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a great battery power. but after listening to this video I May upgrade to the 12 Pro Max or wait for the 15 Pro Max! Which will be released in 2023 LOL
Did he just say that the 12 Pro Max got better battery life compared to 11 Pro Max? How is that even possible?! I have seen a few battery drain tests which the 11 Pro Max beat the 12 Pro Max

There are already reports about finger strain, I suspect we'll see a new generation of people with indents on their fingers from constant use of heavy smartphones.
Love my pro max. Mainly for the bigger screen. I like having a large screen. The camera is great as well. I have big hands and long fingers so I can hold and use it one handed with no problem. No soreness as he describes. I think to each their own. Any one one of the 12 line up is going to be great. I love this new design. The squared edges make it easier to hold and it looks amazing.
Thanks for the review video, well done with honest and practical information. 12 Pro Max (or any Max) was never on my radar. I was aiming for the iPhone 12 Mini after the announcement to replace the XR; however, the Lidar ability on the Pro model got my attention and decided to go with the 12 Pro.

I’m like you and always get the max, but that 6.1 12 Pro is a definite sweet spot and I’m happy with mine, I do miss that screen real estate watching content though
I dropped a small boxcutter on my screen of the 12 Pro Max at work, and the blade was out. So far i know the blade didnt hit the screen. I cleaned my screen immediately to see if it had a scratch or other damage, but i could not find anything on my screen. Back home i used cleaner for screens and checked again to make sure, and again no damage at all.

People are sleeping on the 12 Pro but it’s probably the best iPhone released this year based on form factor and power. I have an iPad Pro do I didnt need the largest phone. Definitely loving this device
@@ibeast365 battery life is great on the 12 pro. I had the 11 pro max and went to the 12 pro this year. You can tell a slight difference in battery life between the two but it’s not significant to me

I had both for a while, and around the house found myself using the Pro more than the Max because of the comfort. I did however noticed some improvement with the camera... mostly the 2.5 vs. 2x zoom. Surprisingly, it made a difference in the type of shooting I do. Also, the battery was noticeably better, so I ended up returning the Pro and keeping the Max in the end.
I have small hands and even my note 10 plus was a bit of a struggle. I could have handled maybe an iphone 11 pro max, but the redesign for the 12 is for sure heavier and bulkier. Thank you for the review, you make a good points in your video. I'm definitely leaning on just the regular pro. If I want to watch a movie, I'll just grab my tablet.
Can’t say I’ve had a pinkie ache from my phone but. It’s not that much larger than the 11 pro max. I also have large hands so for me this phone feels like the perfect size.
Given that Im upgrading from an 8 plus to 12pro max the dimensions are about the same however now ill get a larger screen, the only downside would be getting used to the weight of the new phone but worth the longer battery life!
I’m happy with my 12 pro and i can easily get through the day and still have like 20-25% remaining after 7-8 hours of screen on I live the 12 pro and it’s just the perfect size! The camera is amazing and i couldn’t be more happier tbh
