I have always been an Android user and I prefer Xiaomi and Samsung low and mid-range phones over anything else but I gotta commend Apple for two very important things here, that no one talks about: The smoothness of it all, and the NATURAL stabilization. People don't point these things in reviews, I don't know why, but notice when he's pinching in and pinching out the zoom in the camera recording, it's SO MUCH SMOOTHER on the iPhone compared to ANY other phone. The stabilization, notices how the majority of the phones, including my Xiaomi where I notice this the most, and on the footage of this Samsung, when you pan left and right, and when running, the whole image has these little "jumps", cause the phone is prioritizing the stabilization over the movement you're making. But when you're trying to show the scenery and panning over, you don't want it struggling trying to maintain stabilization, it makes the movement weird and jumpy in tiny fractions, and it's very noticeable. Whereas on the iPhone, it does have GREAT stabilization, not always the best, but great noneless, while maintaining the natural panning and movement of your hands when you're trying to show things left and right up and down. And also, while it doesn't have a telescope camera, the video recording while zoomed in is much better on the iPhone than on the Samsung with it's proper zoom camera. For example, if you would be WALKING or running trying to record a dog that is far away, that footage on the Samsung would be absolutely useless, not usable at all, it's shaking all over the place, while the iPhone records it flawless zoomed in with the stabilization, and it doesn't have weird struggling stabilization either. Again, I'm not an iPhone user nor will I ever be anytime soon but we gotta give credit when credit is due. They nail video recording in so many aspects, it's commendable.

I want to ask a question about the audio levels. The iOS system has an automatic gain control that regulates the input signal from the microphone. However, as far as I know, Android doesn't have automatic gain control. Since the audio levels of your parallel comparison were the same for both recordings, I'm assuming that you normalized the sound of the Galaxy S20 Fe recording in the post. Is that right? If so, how many Db did you have to increase the Galaxy S20 Fe's tone to match the iPhone audio level?

I think the phones are neck to neck. I liked the colours of the iPhone, but also I can change the colours in the settings on the fe. But what I loved the most is the sound of the fe. The sound is clearer and you can’t hear the wind much, but on the 12 mini, it’s just too noisy for me. Also, when running, the fe seems more stable. Most times I thought you weren’t running when I focused on the Fe. When it comes to photos, some were good, while others were not. So if I had to choose, I’d prolly choose the phones with the help of the other specs because camera wise, they each have their downs and ups

The 12mini seems better in most situations. Sharper image and much better image and video stabilization. Where the S20 FE does better is with its Wide-Angle lens. Both trade blows with each other. Pixel 4~5 still does better. :P

I have the iPhone 12 mini but honestly bro go for the S20 FE, a lot of times the wake in the picture is just too much and practically ruins the picture. Samsung does not have that so in my opinion the S20 FE camera is better
