I’m about to do the same thing. I was going to keep my 12 Pro Max for 1 more year because I upgrade every 2 years. But when I saw the dynamic island and I HAVE to upgrade because apple actually upgraded the phone especially with the always on display! I’m excited but I have to wait until February to get it 😊

Great video about the announcements! The phones this year do look like a blast, but not being a content creator I think I’ll stick with my 12pro. The AirPods Pro though - those I think I’m getting - leaving my old ones permanently at work and using the new ones for travel/training exclusively. Improved noise cancellation in public transport, yes please!

@@TomTomdog Actually, that would depend on the type of crash. Also many go into shock and have no control. And sometimes a phone can’t be found due to it getting impacted during the crash causing it to perhaps get lost. And, if one is injured in the crash, they might not always be able to reach their phone. I don’t know why you want to bring negativity on a simple comment but that’s how todays society is and your just stuck in the loop. :)

Love the dynamic island. Stoked on it all around. I skipped 13 series holding out for these and I’m super glad I did so. Super bummed on the colors though. It’s insane to me that the lower tier phones seem to get the exciting and vibrant colors. I would pay extra for a product red pro/pro max. Or any of the cool colors they have been doing on the cheaper models. I get it, they sell more of those but really bums me out that it’s still essentially the same OG colors we have always had + one more usually dull color (midnight green and now this dull purple). Aside from that, I am very excited for this fun!

Idc what anyone says, Apple makes their new releases so exciting that I can’t help but want a new phone even tho I already know it’s not gonna be many changes. I really hope they fixed the issue with the design of the back camera from the 13. It doesn’t effect my pictures but one of my cameras is cracked and Ik a lot of other people who has a crack in at least one of their back cameras.

The iPhone 14 Plus fits my needs exactly. I had my iPhone 8 Plus for 5 years, longer than ANY other phone. I hated the X so much, I lasted 1 week with it. I have a 12 in dark blue and hate it. Too small and the color chips easy. I don’t need Pro features so I’m excited to upgrade. Also they need to keep the Purple color going forward. It needs to be permanent.

I’m kinda disappointed with the watch this year I wanted to upgrade my apple watch 5 this year but the ultra is to big and I don’t need those high activity things that it added and the 8 really didn’t get much of an upgrade I really wanted a better battery life and some other cool health features I guess I’ll wait to see what comes out next year definitely getting the new AirPods cause I like the new features and that they charge both MagSafe and on my watch charger I have the apple charger with both on it and so if I’m charging my phone and my airpod case is dead it’s nice I’ll be able to charge it too without having to go find a cord lol

It kinda seems like they are making the apple watches something to keep until they die instead of updating continuously. The updates seem to continuously be fairly minimal each year. I have to say, I appreciate not being tempted to upgrade often😂

I think the only disappointing thing about the whole event was the AirPods Pro 2. I was expecting more from that after 3 years. The enhanced transparency and noise cancellation in battery life is nice, but I was really hoping to get a lossless option with a new codec. Maybe my expectations are too high. Maybe it’s something that can’t be done in earbuds and maybe they’ll save that for the AirPods Max 2? Either way I’m perfectly happy with my AirPods Pro right now and I don’t want to spend $250 on a slight upgrade.

@@bienio11 I was wondering that too. Apple wired audio is a no brainer because it has truebit audio. The android layer gets in the way (though there is a way round it thats worth doing if you want decent audio, espcially on phones with quad dacs). But wireless aways seemed to have been left behind by Apple as well as Google, with the likes of Sony and LG setting the pace.

Justine do you think Apple will utilize the temperature sensor to show your body temperature? For example if you feel like you are sick and have a fever you can check your watch to see your body temperature. The technology is in the Watch why not send out an update to enable that as a feature.

I think that that’s because the back of the wrist isn’t really a good place to measure bodily temperature Could be good enough to sense temperature difference to relate to ovulation and other hormone changes with a good enough confidence, but probably not to detect that you have a fever

I’m getting the 14 Pro Max but tbh there is no change just the camera the rest ain’t even available in the UK not sure why Apple are not innovating enough like why not make the phone slimmer. I love apple but they need to innovate

Same, I've had my 13 Pro since it was released and I'm considering switching. I'm going to buy the 14 Pro in Space Black! I always thank Justine because she made me become an Apple Fan. Always listen to her videos before buying though so I'll probably hold off pre-ordering until Justine posts her 14 Pro analysis video.

I love the Deep Purple SO much, I really hate that I upgraded to the 13 Pro last year now. I need to convince myself that I won't need to upgrade until the iPhone adopts USB C.
