I just switched from the s20fe to s23+ and basically the major differences are battery life and overall how smooth the operations are, plus its a bigger phone with more storage. My fe broke and the ultra (while having a better camera and bigger battery with the 1440p res) was just too big in my hands. I held it and could instantly tell I was going to have carry issues.

@PSRouz-ib8ro I like it. Much more power efficient and doesn’t get as hot when using or charging. A worthy successor to the FE if you’re looking to upgrade and can find it at a discount. My carrier had a decent deal so I ended up getting it.

The iPhone 14 PLUS is great, but it’s hard to sympathize with the lack luster commercial sales, nothing is really special about it, compared to the mini, that was unique. it’s great that Apple made a large screen iPhone a lot cheaper,, but at the same time, it’s kind of a rip off.

I've had my s23+for about 2 weeks now. The phone is amazingly smooth and fast. Photos look great(wife has iPhone 14 andmy s23+ takes better pics). The customization possibilities are endless. Battery life is great. I seriously can't find any cons for the phone itself.

I tried ios on se3. I had an iPhone 5s. After 3 months on se3, I gave up the phone, and I had an apple watch 8. I cannot abide by ios. Have an A53 now, and can bring up over 10 previous screens with different apps in a matter of seconds. I love the A53.

I use both so that I don't have to choose. I switch over every 6 months. I have a 13 pro max and an S23 ultra and the I phone 13 mini and galaxy flip 4. Tablet wise I am on an I pad cause I rely heavily on the documents by readdle file manager which is an excellent file manager and better than apples own files app. I also play games on apple arcade. Computer wise I use my Mac book it is excellent But phone wise samsung make excellent phones by far and those who dont venture out of apples walled garden dont know what they are missing. Samsungs watch is fantastic too and I like the shape better than the apple watch as well

Did you notice, after each IOS update iphone 14 plus 4k 60 fps is reduced Im 100% sure there are lot of video noise in shadows and lack of detail… Are they intentionally doing this? to showcase 15 series look superior😱

In this video itself we can clearly notice the flickering on Samsung display but nothing like on iPhone 14 plus. Holding iPhone is like travelling in Merc. Whereas Samsung is like in a Toyota Corolla. This comparison just to differentiate two, Toyota reliability is famous but Samsung will be start hanging after some times unlike iPhone.

It's flickering cause it has an adaptive refresh rate to save battery, the screen refreshes to whatever hz it needs to be. It goes from 120hz down to 40hz if I'm not mistaken

I use the Gboard keyboard because i can swipe type with it and it's really accurate and much faster on my s23+. I can also use my voice to use voice typing. It also has a number row if you select it.

Will save you some time here. owner of a 14 plus , 3 months old , minimum usage and the phone is already at 97% battery capacity. never had an iphone that the battery health droped so fast. For sure i am dissapointed and its definitelly last time i buy apple. Should have waited for the s23 plus

I charge the phone when it reaches 40-50% , with the Apple 20w charger and the original cable , never overnight , and I had a secondary device in order to keep the 14 plus with light use. Here we are now 3 months after buying it and I have 97% battery health. Last thing I wanna indicate is that the 3% was lost a few weeks apart by the moment I updated to the 16.3.1. Wish I had never done that

You can do exactly that in the Phone App Settings, the first thing on the list there should be "block numbers". There you can select "block calls from unknown numbers".

I think people are making too big a deal of the 1080p display on the S23+. I don't think anyone would be able to notice the difference in sharpness if they had a 1080p and 1440p display next to each other at that screen size

I had the S22+, display resolution was no problem at all.. but the speaker’s frequency response of the low end is a lot worse than the iPhone’s, which matters to me

I do notice the difference with text. And I read a lot of articles on my phone. I came from an S10 and when I put them side by side I also notice the icons and wallpapers not as sharp. I had the S6 then S7 edge and S10. So after using 1440p displays for over 6 years, it's unfortunately a clear downgrade for me. But I have to say that it's my only major complaint with the phone.

Im an all Apple guy. Very content. I am currently looking on eBay for a older 2 year old or so Samsung etc phone to run Kali Linux Net Hunter. Sooooooooooo many used Samsung and others suffer from screen burn and they re only a few years old. I think you see what I'm getting at. When I look for older iPhones they have NONE of that and the only defects are "Owner dropped and cracked" their phones. Has Samsung figured this out?? All my old iPhones work great. Their displays are still flawless.

well, yes, if we take into account the price when released, but the Samsung panel's quality is best in class (and this one is no different: Dynamic AMOLED 2X); we can admit that their displays are top of the line since Apple is buying their displays from Samsung; out of curiosity, i went in a store and put side by side my iPhone with the S23+ and is very hard to tell the difference in terms of ppi comparison; the Samsung display is absolutely superb and crisp; when using the phone outside, the brighter display of Samsung is definitely a plus (still struggling outside with my iPhone); all of these combined with the 120hz refresh rate make an overall bit better display experience with the Samsung display compared to the 60hz of the iPhone; last but not least, a big thumb up for Samsung for finally producing the Qualcomm chips internationally (everyone now has the same experience with the purchased phone => the Exynos days are over)

Google Pixel line: The best in bleeding edge Android software features and support Samsung's premium Galaxy line: The best in Android hardware, chipsets, and aesthics. Literally, the iPhone of Androids. Arguably, the best that Android has to offer. iPhones: The best at being a poser. Doesn't actually bring much to the table when it comes to innovation.

Is that why i cant have iphones? Ive tried switching to the 14 pro max and it killed my eyes which i cant understand becuse ive had samsung for years and iphone are samsung screens maybe its the flickering of the screen?

iPhones design and color choices blow Samsung out the park. It’s not even close. Although I do prefer Androids typing experience and loudness of typing clicks.

I’ve had Samsung’s LG’s Apple Blackberry and pixel and i continue to come back to apple. I have to disagree with what you said about the software Samsungs still have the same things they’ve had for years almost since the samsung first came out. If you look at apple theyve had some huge updates from where they’ve started and my fiancé just got the s23+ and hates it she wants her 8+ back!! that’s crazy to me i have a iphone 14 pro max and she wants that phone literally for anything for games photos videos everything it’s funny even my buddies want to trade in their samsungs (the company they’ve been with forever) for apple but why? because it’s easier to use and more user friendly

Its just because S23 Plus is an Android and if your fiance gets herself an android, she is shameful about her friends and everyone around her will bully her because everyone around her in her location thinks Android phones means poor peoples since Androids are cheap but also not as optimized as iPhones

@WololoWololo2 samsung is just as expensive, it just has better deals. Also the GPU scores say otherwise. Apple just pays app developers to develop their apps specifically for IOS. That's it.
