I have been buying Spigen cases for several years. The quality and fit are always good at a reasonable price. I was using the Liquid Air until buying a Caudebe Sheath a few days ago.
I liked the Ultra Hybrid Black frost, but I wasn't a big fan of the frosted back due to its black tint. I ended up going with the Ultra Hybrid Frost clear, which has clear transparent edges, but the back panel is frost clear. I wish they would combine both to have color-coded edges with the frost clear!
Spigen makes one of the best cases in terms of fit and finish They have Gripp too But they are worst when it comes to drop protection I had spigen tough armor on my iPhone 11 Pro and my phone back glass broke just with the fall from my pocket . I was pretty confident that nothing would happen but to my shock my whole back glass was shattered And that’s y I don’t recommend these cases yo any one If it’s most toughest case is not protecting the phone , u can imagine how will slim cases will perform
What case did you have? I've been running tough or slim armor since my 5S and the only phone damage I've had was from a screen impact. I dropped my P30 with slim armor off my motorcycle and only the screen protector got damaged 🤷
Thank you for mentioning this! I am upgrading from a 7 Plus so I haven’t had back glass before. I loved my spigen case on my 7 Plus but I don’t want to risk it with my 14
I’ve been using my xr with the spigen liquid air case for over a year now with a lot of drops from high places. And I’ve never, ever, had any cracks or dents on my iphone
Sorry for your bad experience. I'll just say that have used Spigen Tough Armor cases on my iPhone 5 and iPhone 11 and the phones never suffered any damage from drops.

I ordered a Rugged Armour, an Optik Armour (MagFit) & a rugged protector for Apple Watch Ultra. Both RA & OA feel extremely good in my hands as I love that grippy feeling the TPA gives me. OA has a lens cover that gives my phone a second layer of protection & prevents dust from getting in (no, I’m not a clean freak 😂).
You recommend a screen protector with a dynamic island cut out like you have ? I assume could be a bit inconvenient since you have to press there all the time.
I personally would prefer no cutouts but this is a privacy screen guard and all of them that I saw have the pill cutout. It’s not annoying other than the fact that dust is building up inside it lol
don’t get one with cut out. I recommend Esr screen protector they’ve been proven to make great full screen protectors with no cut out for years now. Going with them again this year
I don’t really mess with the dynamic island like I thought I would, AirPods Pro can control music, Siri is there for directions/map. I only mainly use to see if I’m still on a call on the interface which does not require touching it.
I use tempered glass screen protector. If I use this tough armor case , how much thickness will it have above screen ? I guess this case is not very screen protector friendly. because it doesn’t have enough raised lips to protect screen. I guess spigen did a major error about screen and camera protecting in all of its 14 pro cases. They lack enough thickness around camera and screen
I liked the transparent hybrid, but when you take the phone out of the cover, is there any difficulty in removing it because I fear that the frame will get scratched
@@TheJabberTech get spigens’ screen protector they are very reasonably priced for the quality i just put them on my 14 pro max and it installed very easily with 0 bubbles perfect fit
The Spigen case is always in the iPhone 14 pro max on the right side slightly sticks out, I bought the second one better but it creaks writes about ultra hybrid, I would have to buy ten and maybe one would be good, I think it's best to buy the original then it must be matched
