When it comes to durability, should you opt in for the iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 13? This test was done from 100 feet (10 stories). FACEBOOK: / techrax TWITTER: / techrax INSTAGRAM: / techrax
@@Minto107 As someone said glass is glass and glass breaks Yes no matter how strong tempared glass is eventually it breaks if the impact force is focused in small area. So if in someone's durability test it breaks easily then unfortunately it's because of physics. But this ceramic shield is definitely an improvement over normal. Even it's somewhat more scratch resistant than gorilla glass victus.
Don't be that ignorant, it's fake. Not a scratch after a 3-5 meter drop hitting a metal railing in free fall? Just recall what you learned in school about physics.
i dropped my iphone x on the floor off the side of the bath.... the exterior was fine, but the screen shut off completely and it doesnt work anymore 🤣 i can laugh now but a month ago i was crying
The 14 is amazing!! I just bought it and didn’t have a case in the beginning (I know I was living life on the edge! 😂) and I dropped it twice from getting out of my car and it didn’t even crack…. iPhone is on to something with the new build!! Love it!

This is SO PERFECT FOR MY CHOICES!! I was thinking about getting an iPhone 14 pro and I currently have an iPhone 13, I wanted to see how much stronger is is than mine. (even though I always use a case I occasionally drop my phone about 3 inches - 2 feet). It turns out that the iPhone 14 is MUCH stronger than I expected! Thank you! I can finally stop searching for good iPhone 14 pro drop tests! (I looked at like 25 other vids and they weren’t good)
Amazing! The front on the 13 is alive and not a scratch yet I dropped mine from waist height and shattered. How are these phones made? Sure wish I could get an indestructible phone like on these videos!
It's really incredible seeing how much iphones have moved forward in terms of durability. I remember when they used to break when you dropped them off your desk and when you could literally bend them with your hands. Not so good times...
much of the merit is certainly of the design (moreover the most beautiful on the market) because with the glass of the screen rounded on the edges as with the previous models the breaking of the screen was certainly much easier They did a masterful job between clean lines (beautiful) and resistance ....
I have a 6S. The only weakness is being bendable and the screen. But the back is literally metal. METAL! it doesn't shatter. Replace the front with an iPhone 8 screen maybe (Gotta have 3D Touch) and make it stronger.
I’m looking at the iPhone 13s damage. If you look closely at 2:50, it looks like there’s a cable that’s completely ripped off, that might be the reason why the power button, volume rockers, and mute switch don’t work anymore. But other than that, that’s amazing how to screeens didn’t shatter on either phone. Ceramic Shield is pretty good.
Please do this test with some otterbox cases or some cheap amazon otterbox style cases, try the tests with both im gonna buy 14 pro max but its getting some kind of otterbox or similar case immediately
This test is amazing, wow. Now i know i definitely need an iphone 14 Pro. I have a toddler who likes playing with my phones and drop them quite a lot. This phone for me is a stress relief
I literally audibly gasped with hand over mouth when they fell. I think if my 13PM accidentally fell from something this height, even with a case.... I'd have to just sit down and think about life for a good few minutes.
i’ve had a 14 pro for about a year and have dropped it countless times without a bit of damage. came to this video with the curiosity of its durability and i can confirm it’s extremely durable. dropped it off the 3rd story of an apartment complex a few months ago while door dashing and to my surprise the phone was undamaged with i recovered it.
broooo it's my first time seeing these videos and huh it hurts, I can't afford an iPhone in fact I haven't changed my phone for 5 years because I can't afford it either and I take care of mine too much because it's old and wow seeing this video gave me a lot of bad feelings hahaha, and I know it's funny but I think I value taking care of them much more, but your videos are good because they show us their resistance, so good job.

Naw man, once it dropped from my pocket on concrete while i was sitting and the metal shattered and the paint on a side got off when i dropped it from like 20cm on some harsh plastic
14 is great in durability, but the software it runs with just isn’t good for the battery. Smartphones these days aren’t really meant to be tested for collisions so far, but work is in progress in that field (I can see that now).
Yes , really stunned at the very little damage in iPhone 14 😱 Enjoyed it .... But the thing is " You Should give me that iPhone 13 instead of breaking 😁
Did anyone else cringe a little before the phones were dropped? I think this would've been more relevant if it was a comparison between the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro. Maybe the material used on the Pro might make a difference? I know that the frame itself is aluminum on the regular and the Pro has a stainless steel frame. We all know that steel is more durable than aluminum.
Well this makes me feel better about the insane amount of money I spent on my iPhone 14 pro max. I can’t believe the case flew off the 14 pro and the phone was practically unscathed.
Imagine being at the top, you're exhausted from climbing so much and.. you throw the phones down for the footage and.. a fire alarm starts. Also imagine being at the bottom and getting showered with a bunch of phones. The concept of a bunch of items raining down on you SOUNDS funny, but eugh... I don't think someone would survive getting hit with all that, probably would have a horrific concussion at least from just one phone.
