I upgraded from the iPhone 11 to the 15. Debated between the base model and the Pro, ended up going for the base and really couldn't be happier. I don't really use the Pro features so the additional investment wasn't worth it for me. I plan on keeping this phone for 4/5 years, which is usually what my iPhones last me.
I have to ask. How much storage did you get? I wanna know cause I’m deciding on how much I need. I coming from an 11 pro- 256GB- but only am using 67GB of that. What do you think? Hope to hear from you!
@@blankpagepanic how much storage of that are you using? if you don’t mind me asking. I’m 13 trying to buy a phone that’s why I’m asking a couple of things! Hope to hear from you!
@@Sniper_Man_Clips about 100GB but half of that is just Genshin Impact and some audiobooks. I should also mention that I have an iCloud subscription and don't keep photos on my phone.
Ikr the fact that they’re marketing 120hz as a pro feature is insane it’s literally the screen something that everyone uses 120hz is a basic feature not a pro feature
I was using an iphone 8 for years. Prior to the 15, I've never gotten a new phone, usually just went with refurbished ones. That being said, going from the 8 to the 15 has been nothing short of amazing in terms of overall experience. However, I'm not an avid phone user. Like I rarely use social media, take pictures every now and then, and rarely play games. So i don't really maximize the phone's potential. In fact, I originally wanted to just save money and go with a 13 or 14. The were a few reasons I caved for the 15, one being USB-C. It's honestly not THAT big of a deal, but I just felt like within the next couple years, iPhones with a lighting port would look outdated and might be at a disadvantage in terms of certain functions
Im using the iphone 7 plus right now and have been doing so for the past years. It always works fine but I was planning on upgrading and hopefully next month Im going to buy the iphone 15 plus in the pink. Im just like you, I dont use social media and stopped taking pictures, not because of my phone but because I realised that I was spending so much time on instagram and tiktok and it was affecting me mentally and physically, so basically my phone is barely used. I was also thinking to just buy the 14, not the 13 because my brother has it and I just hate how it looks (back glass full of fingerprints) and the size is small for me, the 14 is nice but since Im upgrading, I would rather do a proper upgrade, and get the dynamic island and the USB-C rather than the "normal" iphone stuff.
Each to their own: I find these pastel colours beautiful, in particular the blue, the green and yes, even the pink! I had an red xr, then an 11 red, so I am sick of red. For the time being I have a 14 pro in deep purple, gorgeous.
I’ve had the 10xr I just upgraded to the 15 I paid 93 dollars to own it I got 450 trade in value and ported my number for another 400 legit paid the taxes for the damn phone 93 bucks let’s go!!!! Excited idgaf if the pro is better I got mine for the low.❤

I gave my husband my 14 pro max and got the pink 15 plus. I love it. It is so much more comfortable in the hand. Not as heavy! 😮 That was my biggest issue with that phone. Nice video.
@@lormor460Hey, I wanna know how much storage you got. Cause I have 256gb of storage on my 11 pro and only using 67 of that also I am wondering if I go for the 128 gigs or 256 hope to hear a recommendation!
Definitely not. The smoothness and the decrease in input lag makes a huge difference especially in gaming so it's not overrated. However for to pay significantly more may not be appealing as it still functions well 60hz
I’m jumping from 13 to 15. In two years I’ll likely jump again. I like the pros, but I can upgrade more frequently when I choose base model so everything feels more current.
I would get the 15 Plus had they not removed the SIM card, I'll stay with the 13 PM until its not supported. By then, maybe the carriers will make it easier to switch eSIMs between phones
Funny, I adore these colors, a lot. And everyone I’ve shown it to, agree it’s a nice color. (Pink). Color is so dependent on personal taste, it’s weird to deem it bland. Also funny, people stressing about the Hz, most users are every day people, who don’t compare phones next to each other all day long.
I did buy the iPhone 15. My OnePlus One finally died after 8 years. Like you, I thought the iPhone 15 was the first worthwhile iPhone to get in years for someone who's value-oriented. I wanted an affordable entry into the Apple ecosystem. Since I enjoyed the OnePlus One, I had no complaint about the iPhone 15's 60Hz refresh rate, nor the iPhone 15's USB 2.0 speed. I really appreciate the brighter display and the better camera. I plan to keep this iPhone for at least 5 years, maybe 8 years. I don't believe in upgrading every year.
Just got the white blue model and it looks fantastic. It’s comfortable, light, has a great camera, an even greater display, loud and clear speakers, and is a powerhouse. I wish the refresh rate was 90 instead of 60, but I love this phone overall. I don’t miss the pro model. I’m not a fan of the titanium scratch magnet of those models either. USB C is the sweet sweet cherry on top. What a phone!
Thank you for your review! I plan on getting this iPhone soon and it will be my first iPhone. I have been an android user since always. I am pleased to hear about the USB c charger port.
I bought the iPhone 15 plus just because friends kept telling me to get one. I’ve been an android user for many years and it’s because of its technology and how it’s so easy to use. The color of the blue I phone I do like. It’s a soft light blue that looks white. Technology wise I’m still getting use to it. My Samsung S23 Ultra has a lot of features that I have even use.
A lot of people say “once you have 120hz there’s no going back” but honestly with how good the 15 plus has been compared to how my 13PM was, I don’t think I’ll ever want to spend so much money to get a pro model again.
ive been going 120hz for a very long time and i can easily switch between 60/90/120hz without having any issues at all. While i agree the diffrence is kinda huge and they should already added 120hz to the base model. I dont think its really a deal breaker especially if you dont plan to use your phone intensely like playing heavy games. For day to day use 60hz is just fine but for the price tag and its already 2024 APPLE SHOULD really add the 120hz refresh rate.
@@zeroanime01 this is such a valid point. I think they are trying too hard to “force” people to buy the pro models to get the 120hz and you are absolutely right that in this day and age they need to just implement it within all the iPhone models!
I regularly go between my 14 pro max and my work cell, an iPhone XR. There is some difference in refresh rate though not noticeable. I mainly bought the pro max for the bigger screen and camera at a cheaper price. The 120hz was a bonus.
I just bought the iPhone 15 and coming from a 120hz refresh rate device, I feel like I can see the frame rendering on the 15. Apple needs to consider upgrading its refresh rate for its next base iPhone models
finally upgrade my 15 from 5.. that’s a super long journey for my iphone 5 so i cant complain about 15 since i havent use any previous iphone near to 15
Still happy with refresh rate in iPhone 15 even though upgraded from one plus 8 pro which has 90hz refresh rate. Stopped playing games so the current features to keep phone happy for few years
I currently have the IPhone 13 and am going to buy the 15 pro max. I kept the regular 13 for 2 years and always wanted the pro max. With the new pro max I plan on keeping it for at least 5 years.
I have the iPhone 15 I upgraded from the 13 and I love it AND I DONT NEED TO SPEND an extra $300 for a extra camera and 120HRZ I LIKE 60HRZ my nanny has the 14 pro and the 120HRZ don’t phase me and I do get better battery life than the iPhone 13 and no way would I buy a android for a higher refresh rate I don’t need 120HRZ
When I heard he mentioned "major upgrade", I suddenly thought of Android phones version of major updates. Flip phones, 5 camera lenses, 100x zooms and so on! Any one of these must be groundbreaking if compared to Apple version of "major updates". Ofc, it's all physical kinda updates, but still 120hz is in most Android flagship these days.
This is a regular iPhone. And since these are among the best selling phones every year worldwide, that shows clearly that most people don't give a single f**k about milion camera lenses and 120 Hz...
I bought a 15 Pro Max when I should have bought the 15. Admittedly, the need to have the best offering got to me. I imagine that's the same with the majority of people out there including RU-vidrs and they frequently echo "this is the one I would buy" then turn around and buy the 15 Pro Max as well. 😂
Been watching loads of iphone 15 series reviews and no one's been talking about how crappy the front face cam is in the 15 series. My Xs takes better selfie photos. 🙄
Hi TechDaily, PINK IS NOT BLAND!!! I’d upgrade to the 15 just because it’s pink! Sadly I can’t afford to upgrade from my iPhone 10 yet! Maybe after Christmas! How I lovePink!
Hi love your review. Just watch your a54 a34 review. I wonder if you can compare a54 with s23 fe. In my country the s23 fe is double price of a54. But i don't know the exynos 2200 worth it, i just want some samsung phone that more powerful than a54. Thanks hope you can get on that s23 fe soon
Is there a possibility that you will damage your iphone if you use a Samsung 45W charger? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 It is gonna be my first iphone, that's why I'm asking :D
they didnt kill the port for USBC. they were forced to by the EU if apple had their way they would not have changed it. the EU shouldnt have gotten into a business that has beem running the same way since the start. if i was apple i would have taken the loss and pulled out
I'll be getting the 14 since I can get it for $7 dollars a month with my provider. I don't really use or care about the the extra features the 15 has so it's not that much of a loss for me.
It makes no sense, for me, if you're a regular user, to buy a phone, that price for average use. A Galaxy A54 gives you more for less money. I don't understand neither people who switch from a 6.1' 13 Pro (one of my phone) to an iPhone 15 🤨🫨
@@bringthecheese9504 A mid-range phone like A54 gives me: 1️⃣Android Navigation Gestures 2️⃣Android + OneUi Multitasking with Split View, Floating Windows, Edge Panel 3️⃣Link to Windows: i use a Windows 💻 4️⃣Samsung Mode & Routines 5️⃣Samsung Pro Camera mode included by default I’m fine using an iPhone but i’m not keen to have a lower experience for something that most of 400-500$ have. I feel the difference between 60 and 120hz.
Had a 12 pro max for a 2.5 years and just upgrade it to 15 plus. I'm very happy with the change and probably will use it for 3-4 years with no thought about the replace. Maybe you're interested why not 15 Pro Max? Just because 15 plus will cover all the same use cases as Pro Max and I spend less money for it. Don't want to spend more money on thing i will not use. Even 120hz point, come on, you will forget about it in 2 days if you don't compare different phones every day. Overall 15 plus is a great choice if you're a base smartphone user, social media, some photos, long battery life, etc. Pro max is for pro users that really need those features, just spent that extra 300$ for yourself or your family. It will pay off.
Agree. I’m so tempted by the 15 plus for the best battery life. However, I had Apple put a new battery in my 12 pro max and am going to hang onto it for another year. The plus phones are definitely worth a look, for average users like me.
For me the regular 15 was a worthwhile upgrade from the 13. The 2x zoom and the ability to edit portrait mode in post make the camera feel more useful. The level feature in iOS 17 is simple and intuitive. I've researched the extra features of the Pro but apart from smoother scrolling do not find them compelling. And despite titanium it's still heavier than the regular model.
How can you leave out the AMAZINGLY better battery life on the Plus?! And before anyone says this is about the standard 15, he mentioned things from the other models of iPhones in the video.
I don't know much about the regular iPhone and the Pro, since i'm only interested in the Pro Max. However i do know that the iphone 15 Pro Max has the best battery on any iphone (excluding the 15 Plus). It's a decent improvement over the 14 Pro Max, especially if we include that the 14 Pro Max had some battery degradation issues. I also really love that we got a 80% charge limit option. This will absolutely make your iPhone's battery last longer!
