I did the opposite, went from 13 pro to the 15 max 😅. I honestly could never go back to that measly battery life and small screen. But I'm a 6.1 foot guy so maybe my hands are bigger than most so holding comfort isn't an issue
Why should we appreciate a phone that is years behind the competition in terms of battery? I bought this phone 2 days ago and can barely get 3 hours of screentime out of it, similar to my iPhone 12 at 78% battery health
I love the 15 pro and its size... but then I pick up the max and there is something about how lightweight the max is that I am more drawn to it. After giving it a good thought I went to the 15 pro max in natural titanium 256gb.
I went from a 13 pro which I loved to a 15 Plus. I wanted a bigger screen but didn’t want to spend an extra £300 on video features and a zoom I don’t use or need. First standard device since iPhone 8. Had 12 Pro and 13 Pro and I have to say I don’t miss the Pro monika at all. The 15 plus is fantastic 👌🏾
Definitely one of the best iPhone 15 Pro reviews out there. Awesome job as always, Mark! 🎉 Dbrand should sell in the Philippines via a reseller. I hope they find a authorized reseller here to minimise the shipping fee charge.
I'm mostly an Android guy, but after my problems with the Pixel 8, I decided to give the 15 Pro a try. Really enjoying it. I haven't used the action button at all, though. Would rather have nothing there at all.
If you’re an ex-Pixel person I suggest setting the action button to run a Shazam shortcut. I missed the Now Playing feature so much coming from Pixels tbh
Super solid choice. Would probably warn ya that a new one comes out this September/October. If you can wait that long. Get the 16 Pro or get a cheaper 15 Pro.
Yeah I would but I’ve had the 13 pro since it came out so due for a upgrade also most of my cameras are usb-c so looking forward to transferring my images from my camera to the iPhone
For me battery has always last from 8AM to 10PM (with about 15-20% left) so that's a full day for me. 128GB in my opinion is not enough. I think 256GB is bare minimum unless you have a ton of cloud storage (iCloud or Google Drive or OneDrive)
@@HeyMarkL Would 128GB be sufficient for somebody who doesn't do a lot of video editing and using iCloud though? I feel like the $100 is better spent on say a 1TB external SSD if I want to actually do photography or cinematography.
It would be helpful if they let us activate the Action Button without holding it, it just takes too long. Double press and triple press would be handy too
I’ve been gaming sooooo much on my 15 pro max. It’s a beast and it hardly gets hot anymore especially if I’m playing games like cod mobile and death stranding
Is getting the black titanium worth it?I really love the black titanium, but i could see most of the users complain about the paint peeling off and discoloration in the button areas!and also the finger print smudges. What should i choose ? Should i go with the Black or natural titanium?
I personally love the black titanium. Haven't noticed discolorations on mine or peeling. But IT IS a fingerprint magnet. Would recommend getting some sort of skin (dbrand) or a case.
Seems to me the way to go is rather than spend ton of money for extra storage, just get external portable ssd when you wanna shoot long videos in prores... I went with 128gb model because after 2 and half years of use with 13, im only using like 47gb out of 256gb... if i ever wanted to shoot prores video id just use my portable 2tb usb-c ssd to record on. and another advantage of that is that i can just connect the ssd to mac and edit video from there, or even pc..
Please also mention the battery drainage..i have got 2 phones one is s23 ulrta and another one iphone 15 pro and battery drain so fast on iphone whereas s23ultra you can easily last long for full day with single charge..and it's better to use better phone with good price like samsung
It takes about a an hour and 45 minutes? Maybe 2 hours using a fast charger. I personally like the 3x more but if you need that extra reach 5x is fine.
I got s24u and 15promax, its hard to say which is better. Cam still better on 15 promax overall. Absolute 💯. But the s24ultra is somewhat ahead as video viewer. Screen quality still best on s24ultra. So its a difficult one to judge
Okay so, the iphone 15 pro is pretty great. My only complaints are that there are less apps to be found and sideloading is a pain. otherwise it is an excellent phone@@katinasoutherland7693
I tested both and didn’t notice THAT huge of a difference. If anything, I found the 15 Pro Max to be slightly better but only in some scenarios. Especially in that RAW format. But besides that, almost identical
No upgrade for me. 13 Pro Alpine Green is my first ever iPhone and it has everything 1️⃣ amazing build quality 2️⃣ amazing Alpine Green color 3️⃣ amazing Speakers quality 4️⃣ A15 Bionic in 2024 is still one of best efficient chip on the market 5️⃣ 120hz adaptative refresh rate 6️⃣ good cameras for average user 7️⃣ iOS updates 8️⃣ still 88% battery health I could buy one if i want but i’m more « if i ain’t broke, don’t replace it ». I will wait until 80% of battery health to replace battery.
@@robcala72 i've seen different battery tests where 13 Pro Max won over 15 Pro Max. A15 Bionic is like M1 chip, so there is no need to hurry replace our phones just to enjoy minor upgrades. Smarphones market is mature and 15 Pro Max is not a revolution😅
@@HeyMarkLNot possible realistically otherwise they would have done to spite the EU as long speculated. Diagnostics, data transfer, charging speeds etc would all suffer plus lack of accessories and support as they've cut off lightning and USB C.
Exactly. People need to get off the hype train and wake up to reality. Apple were forced against their will to adopt USB C or face issues accessing the EU market.
How much is the overnight drain (7-8hrs) with AOD off coz mine is dipping 6-8% with location services on? I think my battery has issues so please do reply on this one
I have a friend who had that issue. Thankfully he had AppleCare and got his unit swapped out. I don’t have issues in any of mine. I have both Pro Max and Pro.
After the updates, still can’t schedule messages. Still don’t have a paste clipboard in the system. Still can’t turn off shutter sounds for certain camera modes. That’s just the beginning. Yes I’m salty. 😂
lmao you'd be surprised! I knew plenty of people especially when they don't have a night stand or side table next to them. They'll have it charging next to their head.
Now THIS is the smartphone king. Forget all that AI mumbo jumbo from Samsung. This beats the s24 ultra’s momma, momma in law, great grand momma. lol. Jk they’re both awesome phones. Great video bro
It’s such click bait bull crap. All this video does is state the obvious stuff about this phone that we know for months. After the update, what is new that we get ? Are we talking about software updates ? But no you want to talk about what are the different features. We already know that shit. Stop wasting peoples times.
Hey! Normal lang po ba uminit ang pro max when recording longer videos? Is there anyway around it? I tried all the modes from hdr to pro res log but i get abit nervous when my record gets to around 10 mins., 😬🫨
Normal po. Nothing to worry about! It’s normal and will eventually cool down. I personally don’t record more than one minute per ProRes LOG since files are so big. But I would shoot in smaller batches.
